Last week we had the pleasure of being invited to speak at the Automation 2024 conference in Oslo. Alongside some incredible Norwegian scale-ups, we shared insights into the applications of our autonomy stack in terminal and warehouse operations, where operators can manage multiple machines across various sites—a concept we call multi-site, multi-machine operations. A big thanks to the team at NovaRetail for inviting us and for leading the way in connecting the Norwegian logistics technology industry. We are looking forward to being back next year! 🙌

A big thanks to Startuplab and Innovasjon Norge for hosting a great event in Madrid. Our CEO, Christoffer Jørgenvåg, had the pleasure of spending a few days in the capital, meeting with some of Spain’s most forward-thinking engineering and building contractors, as well as VC firms. We look forward to staying in touch with the Spanish innovation and technology community going forward. Great job Ronny Liverød, and the rest of the Startuplab team! 👏

Last week, we had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some incredible companies at Telenor’s Industridag. Together with Lars Erik Finholt and Lars Ellingsen from Bouvet ASA, our CCO Fredrik Bringager, shared insights into the future of autonomous industrial machines and our ongoing project with Yara International to enable safe and efficient remote and autonomy-assisted wheel loader operations. It was also inspiring to hear from Audun Wickstrand Iversen, portfolio manager at DNB and Birgitte Engebretsen, CEO Telenor Norge, as they outlined the future of autonomous and connected value chains, as well as the potential value creation from upcoming opportunities. A productivity revolution is on the horizon, and it’s approaching fast! 🚀 Many thanks to Telenor and Henning Elvestad for hosting a great event. We look forward to returning next year!

🤝 Together with Volvo Maskin, Hive Autonomy is retrofitting heavy industrial machines to facilitate remote and autonomous control across a variety of machines and operations. By integrating Hive Autonomy’s hardware kit and state-of-the-art software platform, the machines are capable of operating remotely and autonomously, also in harsh industrial environments. “The ability to retrofit existing Volvo machines with our hardware and software solutions marks the beginning of a completely new era in machine capabilities,” says Christoffer Jørgenvåg, CEO of Hive Autonomy.  “It is a privilege to collaborate with a company like Volvo, which is dedicated to helping us deploy robust and high-quality solutions. These improvements will enable our customers to not only enhance operator satisfaction but also achieve substantially greater efficiency,“ he continues. David Kristianslund, Sales Director at Volvo Maskin, states that “We are very happy to be a part of this project together with Hive Autonomy and Yara International. It is inspiring to see how working with partners can drive innovation and make it possible to realize this advanced technical solution.
