🚢💨 Connecting risers, building snowmen, and eating cake – our team working on the Castberg field is progressing smoothly in challenging Arctic conditions 👇 After successfully making the FPSO storm safe in September, we’ve been tackling key milestones one by one 👊 The riser hook-up and pull-in were completed at the beginning of the month, where we got a total of 11 risers (umbilicals and flexibles) in place 🏗️ With the help of Solstad Offshore ASA’s crew and the mighty Normand Navigator, we’ve been able to stay safe and successfully complete the riser pull-in operations marking yet another key milestone and getting us ready for this weeks dewatering operations 💪☃️ The team will now continue working their way into 2025 making sure Equinor’s Castberg project will be delivered on time 🛠️ If you would like to dig deeper into the project, our project team will be on stage presenting at the Subsea lifting and marine operations conference Wednesday December 4th 👉 https://lnkd.in/dqcaQeYi #Engineering #FPSO #Castberg #Subsea #oilgas

We’re excited for yet another major milestone lined up with Equinor next year 🥳👇 Today Equinor awarded us the contract to replace a compressor module at the Åsgard Subsea Compression Station – truly a project unlike any other with modules being retrieved and installed using a vessel crane (first time ever) 🚢 🏗️ The subsea compression system is vital for maintaining the production rate from the Midgard and Mikkel fields, and this upgrade will ensure even higher performance in the years to come 🙌 After rigorous training at the Offshore Simulator Centre in Ålesund, our offshore crew and engineers will be ready for the 2025 compressor change-out campaign, which will include lifts of up to 400 tons🏋️♂️ 💪 As CEO Kevin Murphy said; this is our third award under Equinor’s marine services framework agreement. Strengthening local ties with the Municipality 🤝👇 This Tuesday, we had the honor of hosting a distinguished group from Sola Municipality, including the Mayor, the Municipal Director, the Business and Tourism Manager, and most of the chairmanship. The visit was all part of their annual tour within the municipality where they want to gain insights into local businesses (we do see why Sola won the Norway's best business municipality award again) 👏 For us it was an amazing opportunity to present who we are and what we do 🌊🚢⚓ Kevin Murphy gave a comprehensive introduction to our vision, values, and off course we got to showcase a lot of the complex projects that we’ve done all over the world 🌎 We also seized the opportunity to share some of the challenges we currently face, and some insights into exciting possibilities for future growth 🚀 Thank you for visiting us, Sola Municipality. Collaboration is at the core of everything we do, and with teamwork, we can achieve incredible things 🤩 like the successful completion of the project, Baltic Connector Pipeline Repair 👊 👇 In October 2023, the critical gas pipeline between Finland and Estonia, was severely damaged. To secure the energy flow between the two countries, time was of the essence ⏳🌊 As the government started their inquiries to figure out what happened, Equinor got the recently signed PRS frame agreement out and we prepared for an Ultra-Fast-Track project 🚀   If you're in Trondheim this week make sure you don't miss out on Iarla Lewis's presentation at the Subsea Pipelines and Cables event from Norsk Petroleumsforening / Norwegian Petroleum Society to learn more about how we went from damaged pipeline to flowing gas in about 100 days 🌠🤓

🎊 Yet another MAJOR milestone achieved 🎊 🌊 Over the course of these last two weeks we’ve gone through some momentous occasions achieving historic milestones with the Castberg FPSO 💪 🚢 On September 4th our team successfully made the FPSO storm-safe, and last night they finished the installation of all 15 mooring lines ⚓️ This achievement is not only a win for Equinor and our valued partners at Vår Energi - it represents a culmination of our teams dedicated effort.
