Rem Offshore wants to be a contributor to the local community.🥰 We sponsor small and large teams and organizations in both sports and culture, but also individual talent. Such as Lovise Skarbøvik Andresen from Ellingsøy.🏃🏻♀️ She had her international breakthrough on the athletics track as a 20-year-old last year.🎇 When she became Norwegian and Nordic senior champion both indoors (60 meters hurdles) and outdoors (100 meters hurdles). In addition, she was selected for the European Senior Championships in Rome, where she advanced from the attempt to the semi-finals, being only hundredths away from reaching the final. When it mattered most, she set two new personal bests in the 100-meter hurdles, with 12.89 she was just behind the Norwegian record.🏅 Just before Christmas, she was named Athlete of the Year by Sunnmørsposten.👏🏻🎉 These achievements together with her ambitious goals, were strong reasons why Rem Offshore entered into a two-year sponsorship agreement with Lovise last autumn. Now operating from the Port of Blyth, REM Power provides essential support to the Sofia Offshore Wind project and a comfortable living environment for our offshore team. This cutting-edge vessel is designed for maximum efficiency, featuring a hybrid battery solution, and houses around 45 team members and crew. It features advanced facilities aimed at ensuring the well-being of our staff, including: 🏋️♂️ Gym 📘Day room ☕ Canteen 🏥 Modern hospital 🛏️ Living quarters Jonathan Grigg MEng (Hons) MSc CEng MIMechE, Senior Project Manager, explained: “REM Power allows us to manage operations directly from the site. Rem Inspector Moves Toward Enhanced Efficiency and Reduced Emissions with 1MW QUEST® Energy Storage System Installation 🔋
⚡ We are proud to power up Rem Inspector with our cutting-edge energy storage system for Rem Offshore! ⚡ 🔋 We will integrate and deliver a 1 MW battery package featuring our QUEST® energy storage system. The containerised battery system optimises energy use by enabling peak shaving, spinning reserve, and harbour mode. ⚙️ By integrating batteries into the REM Inspector, we reduce the number of diesel generators in use while maintaining DP class, resulting in significant operational cost savings while reducing emissions. 💬 “NES has a strong track record of delivering energy storage systems to offshore vessels, which is why we have chosen them as a cooperation partner for the Rem Inspector," says Lars Conradi Andersen, CEO of Rem Offshore By retrofitting existing vessels with energy storage systems, they aim to reduce fuel consumption and emissions while maintaining operational reliability. 💬 "Reducing energy consumption on offshore vessels is achieved through several measures, including integrating battery storage, energy management systems, and optimised propulsion.
