Spectrum Blue ser fram til å bidra til Norges lederskap innen global helse og beskyttelse.
En av de største bragdene i menneskehetens historie var mulig på grunn av store investeringer fra land som Norge. Dette skriver Bill Gates om i Aftenposten i dag. «Når barn er friske, kan de gå på skole. Når voksne er friske, kan de gå på jobb. Og når samfunn er friskere, vokser og blomstrer økonomien.» Verden har mer enn halvert barnedødeligheten siste tjue år, og det er fullt mulig å klare dette igjen. For en måned siden la et ekspertutvalg ledet av Camilla Stoltenberg frem en rapport med anbefalinger til hvordan Norge kan fornye sitt lederskap innen global helse. Rapporten peker på to hovedmål for Norge: 1) å fortsatt redusere helseforskjellene globalt 2) å styrke helsesikkerheten globalt. Dette er tydelig også i vår egeninteresse.
