👏 Congratulations Max Arshavsky and the Zenno Astronautics team!!
We've recently secured investment from ANA Holdings (All Nippon Airways) and Mitsubishi Electric, facilitated through Japan's leading VC firm, Global Brain Corporation. This investment enables Zenno Astronautics to fully deploy Z01, marking it the world's first superconducting product designed for use in space. Superconductors will revolutionize how humanity utilizes space resources, directly in space, thereby reducing our dependency on Earth. This step is crucial for expanding life into the cosmos. Currently, we face three primary challenges: 1. Dependence on finite, Earth-derived fuels for space transportation: This restricts the extent and sustainability of space travel. 2. Radiation damage to electronics and human tissues: This limits our ability to maintain a continuous presence in space. 3. Our inability to conduct routine and reliable in-space operations: This includes tasks like the assembly of structures, satellite servicing, and debris removal, which are essential for long-term space habitation and operations. I'm grateful to GD1 (Global From Day One) for leading this investment round and to Shasta Ventures, Nuance Connected Capital, NZ Growth Capital Partners, UniServices, NZVC, K1W1 for their support.
