🎉 Today is Bus Driver appreciation Day! 🎉 Let’s meet another one of our incredible Waiheke Island Bus Drivers. If you’re travelling on the Island, keep an eye out for Tania, a Fullers360 driver with five years of experience. She loves to weave, and you can often find her at stops between shifts, creating beautiful pieces for her stall at the Saturday markets. Meet Kenneth - one of our brilliant team who works as a bus driver on Waiheke. He travels from Torbay to Waiheke to carry out his shifts, taking locals and tourists to where they need to go! Our drivers are passionate about their work and play an exceptional role in moving travelers around Waiheke Island every single day. This month, our team and vessels are proud to be getting behind Movember - you may have noticed a few of our ferries are even growing their Mo’s! Movember exists to stop men dying too young by tackling some of the most complex health issues facing men today – mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Recently, we were thrilled to take a group of tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau to Rangitoto Island as part of Sport Auckland’s Active Families program. A massive congratulations to everyone who took part, especially those who pushed themselves up the 260m summit. It was a demanding walk, but a brilliant day on the island and great to see so many smiles at the top! Getting there and back on the ferry was half the fun, with dolphins putting on a show in the Gulf. We look forward to doing it again soon. 🐬 ⛴ #activefamilies #sportauckland #rangitotoisland
