What happens when businesses, customers, and charities join forces? Christmas Magic, that's what. 💫 This year, Kura Kai ran a Christmas Bag Campaign, delivering 500 thoughtfully packed pēke (bags) to rangatahi (youth) across New Zealand. Generous partners like Nothing Naughty, with the help of their pay-it-forward customers, played a key role in making this possible. Their protein-packed goodies added an extra layer of love to each bag. As the Kura Kai team said: "If you could have only seen the smiles these Christmas bags brought, it would have brought a tear to your eye." 👉 Read the full story here

Shopify app | Turn customer donations into online gift cards
About us
GoGenerosity is a Shopify pay-it-forward donation app that makes social impact easy whilst increasing revenue and customer retention. We simplify generosity, turning 100% of your customer’s donations into online Gift Cards that are then sent to a charity partner of your choice. Charities can now purchase what they need from your store by simply redeeming the value of the Gift Card, creating a seamless way to make a difference and grow your business. It's a win-win-win for your business, your customers and your charity partners.

TIS’ THE SEASON OF GIVING – although S&L do it continuously: S&L are a Civil Engineering and Land Development Consultancy - or as we like to refer to it, COMMUNITY CREATORS. Every month we donate $1,000 to the GoGenerosity community. As a result of our ongoing partnership and generosity, we have donated over $31,000 (and counting) and 1,994 people (and counting) have been positively impacted! GoGenerosity is a platform that enables and amplifies generosity and facilitates this direct to areas of our community that need it the most. This can include feeding, clothing and protecting the homeless, paying for medical procedures, bringing light to those with terminal illness, helping vulnerable children and women, supporting charities, community and voluntary groups. As an organization that helps shape our region and as people that live and work here (for 61 Years and counting), we feel it’s our duty to contribute to making our local community a better place for all. HOW GOOD 💚 Look Good Feel Better & Flo & Frankie supporting those diagnosed with cancer, providing them with a boost and loving care.
❤️ I love this partnership Flo & Frankie x Look Good Feel Better ❤️ It's so awesome to see fashion brands like Flo & Frankie stepping up and partnering with their customers to make a real authentic impact! Flo & Frankie customers are given the option to be generous when shopping online. 👍 100% of their generosity is turned into Flo & Frankie online gift cards. 👍 These gift cards are then passed on to their charity partner, Look Good Feel Better. 👍 Look Good Feel Better shop online (like any other customer) & choose incredible Flo & Frankie products for women going through cancer treatments. 👍 They then redeem their gift card at the checkout. All costs including shipping are completely covered by the gift card. No costs to the charity. We've got incredible stories from women going through cancer treatments saying how valued they feel being treated like this. Some of the everyday purchases we take for granted can actually change someone else's life. At GoGenerosity we're making it so easy for brands and their customers to make an authentic, tangible difference for people in need.

Everybody get excited...Deadly Ponies has joined our platform to amplify the good they already do 🎉 When their customers pay-it-forward while shopping the range of beautiful leather goods, every dollar donated helps Ronald McDonald House Charities New Zealand in providing care and support to families with a child undergoing hospital treatment. PLUS Deadly Ponies are generously running a special 12 Days of Christmas Karma on their instagram. Not only are they gifting 12 items to customers, they're matching the value of these 12 items with an extra donation to RMHC NZ. Thank you Deadly Ponies. We are so excited to see the impact your support has. 💚

🤗 Here's another reason why I chose to give up financial security to go all in on a start up. A couple of days ago we received this story from a lady going through domestic who has received support from National Collective of Independent Women's Refuges here in NZ. "I knew that things were not good. I wanted to leave for a long time, but it felt impossible. One night I just couldn’t take it anymore. The yelling and always feeling like I had done something wrong, it was always my fault…so I took the kids and left. I was so scared but with the support of Women’s Refuge I was able to start again and not live on the edge all the time. It was hard but I am so much happier now." - Tanya 👉 It's stories like these that make it all worth it. Helping enable acts of generosity that actually changes lives, is why we do what we do! 👉 Using our pay-it-forward app to turn customer donations into online gift cards which are then passed on to charities is a no brainer..... everyone is a winner!

🎉 CONGRATS 🎉 Both Cleanery and Fair Food NZ are included in the Sustainable Business Network awards this year. Two awesome Go Generosity partners who are audacious enough to believe a better world is possible and are leading by example! One extra cool thing about this is that Fair Food is Cleanery's charity partner (via our platform) so they're not only winning awards together but they're making the world a more positive place together.

This article from The Spinoff was a sobering and insightful read. One in five working-age New Zealanders doesn’t earn enough to feed themselves and their family well - based on new reports from Kore Hiakai Zero Hunger Collective. We’ve heard firsthand from our charity partners about the rising demand for food support and the tough decisions some food services face due to funding challenges. While the situation is challenging, it’s also a powerful reminder of the impact generosity can have. Thanks to businesses and their customers stepping up, your support helps ensure fewer families go hungry. Thank you to all our incredible partners and their customers for driving positive change!
Who are the New Zealanders who can’t afford nourishing food?
