“We don’t ask for complicated cash flow forecasting; we don’t put you through hoops to get the funding. The funding is there to be used, you are part of the economy and it’s available to you.” Cheers to that! Bill Bennett from NZ Herald talks to our co-founder Nicola Taylor—and creates a great Taxi headline!—about the new way businesses are funding their growth (and why we’re growing at a rate of 120% every four months). If you’re a business owner, set up a Taxi account today and have all the options open to you over the summer period. Taxi—it’s affordable, flexible funding for businesses going places. Enjoy more control with our new variable limit feature ⚙️ 🔧 You can now adjust your Taxi limit – the full amount of money available to you through Taxi – at each provisional tax date for your business. 📆 The window to change your Taxi limit opens 3 weeks before an upcoming provisional tax date and closes 3 days after the tax date has passed. After this point, your Taxi limit will be set until your business' next provisional tax date. 💸 Lowering your Taxi facility will result in lower monthly fees, giving you more control over setting your Taxi account up to best serve your business needs. Because monthly fees are calculated daily, your change will take effect from the moment you change your Taxi limit. To change your limit, head to the 'Billing' section of your Taxi account. For business purposes only. Monthly fees and T&Cs apply.

Off the back of our win at the Best Places to Work awards this week, our co-founder, Nicola, sat down with NBR - National Business Review. Discussing tax, love, and now being (officially) the Best Place to Work in Aotearoa, Nicola emphasised that businesses don’t have to choose between success and kindness – they can, and should, do both. We are beyond thrilled to share that last night, Taxi was – alongside our sister company, Tax Traders – announced the overall winner of this year’s Best Places to Work awards, as well as the winner of the Small Workplace award!🏆 We’re so grateful to receive this recognition in our very first year. A big thank you to the whole team for making Taxi such a remarkable place to work and to our incredible founders Nicola and Josh for actively and generously investing in our culture and workplace. Nicola and Josh founded Tax Traders 12 years ago (and earlier this year, Taxi) grounded in the core beliefs that the benefits of the tax system should be available to all Kiwi businesses, not just the large corporates; and that businesses can be a force for good. Last night was a win for the team, but without Nicola and Josh’s vision 12 years ago, none of this would have been possible. We would also like to congratulate the other awards winners and nominees. We loved celebrating with you, thank you for a great evening! 📰 Read more about the awards here: https://lnkd.in/gKfagr2Z
