Ngā mihi o te wā! Time to pack the Jimny with chilly bins and beach gear, set the Mitsubishi heat pumps to 'holiday mode', and head out for some well-earned summer adventures. To our incredible clients and partners — your mahi has helped keep Aotearoa's outdoors beautiful and our waters safe. From checking and cleaning gear between waterways to checking those fishing rules before hitting Te Taitokerau's shores, we love seeing how your work touches every Kiwi summer. We're stepping away from the office to recharge our creative batteries (and possibly spot a wallaby or two!), but we'll be back in 2025 with even more ambitious ideas to win hearts and minds across Aotearoa. Mauri ora whānau — here's to a summer filled with kai, katakata (laughter), and unforgettable moments with your loved ones! #aotearoa #nzbusiness #marketing

Prepare, direct, and mitigate risk. These were our objectives when developing the Ministry for Primary Industries’ recent bird flu awareness campaign. With thousands of New Zealanders owning backyard chickens or keeping birds as pets, we knew our messaging had to be clear and concise. This campaign was a key opportunity to engage both our creative and media firepower. To build a campaign that connects, informs, and drives action. Given the importance of our birds in Aotearoa, we brought this project to several crucial spaces. Reaching MPI’s audience nationwide via digital animated web ads, social media, magazines, and more, we certainly brought our best for this work. So, keep your eyes peeled! We’re excited to see the impact as our mahi works to prepare New Zealanders and protect our birds.

Reel big ideas. Reel big impact. We've just launched this year’s summer Fishing Rules campaign. And while we’re no stranger to Fisheries NZ and this mahi, we're excited to cast some fresh ideas for this summer. Connecting the full power of our creative and media offerings, we loved telling this story. Refreshing our approach was just a small part. We needed to create a habit. The idea that checking for updates is part of your routine, every time. So, we did exactly that – showcasing the app as the centrepiece of every fishing toolkit. Highlighting how the app supports safe fishing and ensuring kaimoana for our mokopuna. From fishing shops, your local boat ramp, and even the Warehouse’s website, you’ll find it hard to miss our latest Fisheries NZ summer campaign. We’re excited to see our mahi tackle this summer’s fishing season! #Aotearoa #NZBusiness #Marketing

Big, bold and, most importantly, beautiful. This was the mindset when designing our brand-new website. We needed to reflect our journey to date, while also kicking off an exciting new chapter in our story. It was important we craft it ourselves. From concept into production, our web design team have worked hard behind the scenes to create something that’s truly us. We couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out. From the scorching new showreel, to a fresh catalogue of case studies, we’re beyond thrilled to share what we’ve built. The result? We’ll let you be the judge – www.hemisphere.nz

Our recent work for Harbour Asset Management brand campaign brought our full team together. Our job was to bring a fresh, imaginative voice to their brand, and put in unmissable places. From the get-go, we knew it was our words that could have the greatest impact. Communicating trust, compassion, and capability, in just a couple of lines – it’s no easy task! Since its launch, we’ve loved seeing this campaign out in the world. From the clear, concise, two-toned messaging to its simple, elegant and (nautically influenced) visual structure, our latest Harbour Asset Management campaign is one for the books. #Aotearoa #NZBusiness #Marketing

Today, we join Aotearoa New Zealand in mourning the loss of Kīngi Tūheitia Pōtatau Te Wherowhero VII, the Māori King. His passing marks a significant moment for our nation, touching the hearts of both Māori and non-Māori alike. At Hemisphere, we recognise the importance of the Kīngitanga movement in Aotearoa New Zealand’s cultural landscape. Kīngi Tūheitia's leadership has been a beacon of unity and strength, embodying the principles of partnership that we seek to uphold in our mahi. As we reflect on this loss, we're reminded of the importance of genuine relationships and the power of working collectively. We extend our deepest condolences to the royal family, the Kāhui Ariki, and all those affected by this loss. May this moment inspire us all to recommit to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and continue building bridges between all peoples of Aotearoa. In honouring Kīngi Tūheitia's memory, let us move forward with renewed dedication to understanding, respect, and unity.
