Fiji’s #tourism sector continues to boom. As Tourism Fiji’s data shows, arrivals are up, even on 2023’s historical record, and premium travellers are spending more time here every trip. The challenge is to ensure the products on offer match the famous Bula welcome tourists get when they visit this part of paradise. World class quality is a given. But just as importantly, Fiji’s #hotel and #resort #chefs and managers need reliability of safety and supply. And this is best achieved through genuine partnership with the best local businesses. It’s a challenge that #newzealandbusiness is well up for. Our #newzealand #madewithcare pavilion at this year’s Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association’s #hotec2024 expo featured four outstanding businesses offering top quality food, beverage and tech products, tailored to meet the real demands not just of of tourists, but also the hotel and resort providers that host them during their stay. - Green Meadows Beef’s grass-fed Angus beef and New Zealand lamb products from their family farm in Taranaki showcased their delicious and near-foolproof burgers and koftas in easy-to use free-flow frozen packs. - Pals’ ‘better for you’ low-sugar seltzers with all natural, no artificial flavourings, reinforced why they’re New Zealand’s (and surely Fiji’s!) RTD beverage of choice - whether it’s by the pool, beachside, or a refresher after a day at one of Fiji’s epic surf breaks… - The NZ Avocado Collective and Mercer Mushrooms proved that 🇦🇺 and 🇳🇿’s favourite breakfast of smashed 🥑 (and mouthwatering fresh 🍄🟫) could soon be possible in Fiji - with a scale and counter-seasonal supply complementing Fiji’s own great local produce to finally give chefs the confidence to add these to menus across the country year-round. - Magic Memories showed what an industry already world-famous for ‘making smiles’ could do by using technology to better engage with its customers and amplify its global brand harnessing the content generated by its million annual visitors. Special mention too to the many other kiwi businesses we worked with at the expo that are also partnering to deliver Fiji’s incredible tourism offerings with the best of Aotearoa, including Barker Fruit Processors Ltd, Delegat's Wine Estate, Fonterra, and many more. Quality. Reliability and Partnership - a simple formula for success in an industry striving for the best. Vinaka vakalevu, Vakanuinui Vinaka me he mihi tino nui to Hon.
