Industrial Tube Manufacturing were pleased to host Hon. Minister Andrew Bayly, Minister for Small Business & Manufacturing, at our Hamilton facility earlier this month. During the visit, Minister Bayly toured our 12,500m2 plant, viewing key operations such as coil slitting, Precision Tube and Stainless Tube mills and the value added division, which includes our BLM GROUP LT7 Tube Laser cutter. We discussed the critical role of locally manufactured tube products in supporting industries like horticulture, dairy and food processing as well as the challenges posed by imports from Asia. We appreciated Hon. Minister Andrew Bayly’s time, and his ongoing dedication to strengthening New Zealand’s manufacturing sector. #nzmanufacturing #precisiontube #stainlesstube

We are pleased to announce our partnership with Swell to drive innovation and support R&D investment in New Zealand’s manufacturing sector. "We estimate that 80% of eligible manufacturers are missing out on innovation funding. We’re excited to work alongside Advanced Manufacturing Aotearoa and its members to help close this gap." – Michael Barry, Head of Growth Advanced Manufacturing Aotearoa CEO, Catherine Lye added: "The manufacturing sector is the backbone of New Zealand's economy, but it faces increasing pressure to evolve. We’re excited to join forces with Swell Group to make it easier for businesses to tap into R&D incentives and access the expertise needed to embrace innovation. Together, we aim to build a stronger, more resilient manufacturing ecosystem for New Zealand’s future." This collaboration aims to accelerate investment in research and development (R&D) focused on process and product innovation, while simplifying access to grants and incentives for manufacturers across the country. We look forward to working with Michael Barry and the team at Swell .
