🌿 Supporting Native Plant Growth 🌿 We recently partnered with Conservation Volunteers New Zealand to host an event at the farm, welcoming 47 Fonterra team members who volunteered their time to help release some of our native plantings. Releasing involves removing grass and weeds around young plants, giving them the space and resources they need to thrive – a crucial step in fostering their growth. I’ve had the privilege of being the Lincoln Young Farmers Treasurer for the past two years. This role has been very rewarding, and I’m grateful for the leadership, organisation and financial budgeting skills it’s helped me develop. I look forward to continuing to be involved with Young Farmers in the future! Know a teen who’s all about agriculture? 🌾🚜 The FMG Junior Young Farmer of the Year is their chance to dive into farming, test their skills, and meet others from across NZ! No experience? No problem! It’s all about learning, giving it a go, and having fun. How does it work? In teams of two, they’ll take on seven modules with the top five teams battling it out in a buzzer quiz.
