Sustainability is not new to Orbit – our Auckland office has been certified Toitu net carbon zero since 2012. The Orbit Group was certified as net carbon zero in 2020, and we’ve recently been recertified, thanks to our friends at Toitū Envirocare. Qantas announced today some changes to the way they offer their fares and other value added products and services to the travelling public. Their announcement refers to the New Distribution Capability (NDC) which Orbit has historically referred to, and many airlines have now adopted as a way to display fares, personalise trips and deliver value added offers. As a valued partner to the Qantas network, Orbit can reassure you that we have access to all the new fare and product options that are available via Qantas’ NDC network. No changes will take effect until after 1 July, 2025.
