Man fined $8,000 for issuing fake gas certificates and carrying out unsafe gasfitting work endangering lives. Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board Chief Executive Aleyna Hall emphasised the serious risks posed by unauthorised gasfitting work. “The potential effects of Mr Arthur’s gasfitting work on the Whangārei motorhome could have been devastating,” said Ms Hall. “Despite being contacted by the Board, he continued to perform unsafe gasfitting work, showing little regard for the safety of the public.”

Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board reposted this
"It was an eye opener to understand the journey of the food scraps and see how this is processed into biogas, biomethane, liquid fertiliser and then using the bio gas for electricity." We recently had the pleasure of hosting the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board at Ecogas Reporoa Organics Processing Facility. This passionate group was keen to explore how food waste contributes to Aotearoa’s circular economy by producing renewable energy and valuable by-products that enrich our environment. A big thank you for visiting and joining us in the commitment to sustainable energy solutions! 💚 #Sustainability #RenewableEnergy #CircularEconomy #AnaerobicDigestion #RenewableGas #Biomethane
