I chose the JW Marriott Hotel Changsha for my first stop because of its high cost performance. I have stayed here four or five times before, all for business trips. Although it is positioned as a business hotel, it is located in Changsha, so it doesn't feel like a business hotel. The overall performance and price make it one of the best JW Marriott hotels in mainland China. 1️⃣ Public Areas: The hotel is not in the city center, but it is convenient to get to places and there is not much traffic. The hotel has a sky lobby. The public areas are not large and there are no fancy decorations. Everything is simple and clear, and the space is left for functional areas. However, the hotel is mainly for business, so there are not many facilities, but it is enough for business travelers. 2️⃣ Hardware: The hotel has only been open for two years and is managed by the owner's daughter. The rooms are well maintained and the hardware is new, which is enough for business trips. The color scheme is not too bright or too dark, giving a warm feeling. The executive lounge is large and the happy hour food is suitable for business travelers who are in a hurry and need a quick dinner. The breakfast is also rich for a business hotel. 3️⃣ Service: The service in Changsha is rarely disappointing, and this hotel offers JW Marriott-level service. The staff in the lounge are enthusiastic and do not slow down their service when there are many guests. The room service is also quick. I didn't leave any notes, but the welcome gift was thoughtful. However, there are not many suites in this hotel, so the suite rate for high-level members is low. I was lucky to experience a suite during off-peak hours. There are many choices in Changsha, but this JW Marriott is definitely the first choice for business trips with a price of around CNY 1,000.
