Nagenla Pass ⭐⭐⭐ - Address: Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains, Damxung County, Lhasa, Tibet (near Namtso) - Opening hours: All day - Recommended visit time: 1 hour - This is the only way to Namtso. Standing at the pass and looking north, you can see the beautiful Namtso. Tashi Island, Namtso ⭐⭐⭐ - Address: Namtso Scenic Area, Damxung County, Lhasa, Tibet - Opening hours: 6 am–6 pm - Recommended visit time: 3 hours - Tashi Island is a beautiful and unique place in the Namtso Scenic Area, worth a visit. / 🎒 Travel essentials: 👚 Clothing: Down jacket, thermal underwear, thick cotton pants, and fleece-lined windproof and cold-proof jacket. Nagqu is freezing in December, so make sure you stay warm. 🎩 Accessories: Sunglasses and sunscreen are a must, as the UV rays are very strong. Also, bring gloves and a scarf to keep the cold wind from blowing down your neck. 💳 Documents: Bring your ID card and driver's license, as well as your student ID and military ID.
