Detian Transnational Waterfall, some super practical and free ticket tips for you

From Nanning, the earliest bus departs from Langdong Bus Station at 8:30 am. A one-way ticket costs CNY 90, and a round-trip ticket costs CNY 170 (insurance is optional). The return bus departs from the drop-off point at 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm. Detian Waterfall tickets cost CNY 80, and shuttle bus tickets cost CNY 35 (a must-buy, as the distance is too far). Here's the key point: if you have an ID card from the three northeastern provinces, you can get free tickets and only need to buy shuttle bus tickets. The route is as follows: after getting off the bus, walk along the boardwalk on the left to the bamboo raft area, where you can see Vietnamese people playing at the waterfall on the other side, as well as vendors paddling small boats to sell goods, which is very interesting. Continue walking past the bamboo raft drop-off point, where you can take photos of the bamboo rafts and waterfall from below, which is very exciting. Then, continue past the boundary marker, up the steps, and through Detian Temple to the highest point, China-Vietnam Street. It is recommended to walk along the left side to the cross-border street, where you can have a meal and see the port, then return. You can take a bus to the scenic area entrance or walk along the main road to the entrance. Walking is recommended, as it is not far, and you can see the waterfall from above. Viewing platforms 3, 4, and 5 offer great views. Key tips: 1. The waterfall has a water release schedule, with the largest flow around 12:00 pm, gradually decreasing by 2:00 pm. 2. If you are flying a drone, go to the drum field after the last image, which has a good view and is open. However, the border is a no-fly zone, so be careful.
