Wave Valley

Wave Valley is located in Jingbian County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, about 22 km from the county seat. It is a breathtaking natural wonder mainly composed of red sandstone, formed between the Paleozoic Permian and the Mesozoic Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, spanning the most geologically active and biologically prosperous eras in Earth's history. The rocks here are as intense as burning flames, and the Danxia landforms of various shapes change endlessly in the sunlight. The area is characterized by towering red cliffs, with clear textures on the towering red walls recording the changes of the land. The narrow canyons and dim light create a mysterious and quiet atmosphere, and after walking out of the canyon, there is an open Danxia landform landscape, and the surprise of the winding peaks is intoxicating.
