On the fourth day of my trip to Taipei, I ventured into the artistic paradise hidden on the edge of the city - Treasure Hill Artist Village. First Impressions of Treasure Hill: A Blend of History and Culture Originally, Treasure Hill was a settlement built along the mountain, with the earliest structure being the Treasure Hill Temple built during the Qing Dynasty, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Later, it gradually became an illegal settlement for immigrants, with narrow alleys and stacked houses forming a complex maze. Today, this old community has been transformed into an international artist village full of artistic vibes - old buildings combined with modern creations, perfectly blending the old and the new. Every step you take, you'll encounter graffiti or art installations on the walls and alleys, as if stepping into a visual feast.
