The Westin Shimei Bay Resort, a gem on the most beautiful bay in Hainan

When a heavy rain meets the surging waves, I seem to hear the sound of another universe. When the bright sunshine meets the white waves, I seem to travel to a world that only exists in fairy tales. During my two-day stay at The Westin Shimei Bay Resort, I encountered a variety of sea views and felt the colorful sea views and moods. The hotel is located in Shimei Bay, known as the most beautiful bay in Hainan, facing a 6-kilometer-long pristine beach and backed by a 4,000-year-old Qingpi forest. It is a filming location for various variety shows and movies, and a place where many people fall in love at first sight. I stayed in a premium pool room this time. When I opened the door, I saw a heated pool, and I could swim directly into the blue water. The sense of ceremony of vacation was already full in the room. The Westin Shimei Bay Resort is the largest Westin resort in the world, covering nearly 120,000 square meters. It is adjacent to the national Qingpi forest nature reserve, which has been protected since the Qing Dynasty. There are only three such Qingpi forests in the world, and the other two are in South Africa and Malaysia. The entire hotel is designed with the concept of "Dreaming Back to Qingpi Forest". The hotel lobby creatively uses a unique square concept. The 20-meter-high futuristic open lobby perfectly integrates nature with its transparent design. The hotel lobby faces Jiajing Island, and the beautiful scenery of Shimei Bay is unobstructed. In the warm afternoon, having a leisurely afternoon tea in the hotel lobby is something everyone who comes here likes to do. The beautiful scenery and delicious food are the best partners to adjust your mood, not to mention the wonderful performances every day. At dusk, go to the Hard Bar on the beach, order a few bottles of wine, and enjoy the pink romance. Although it was raining on the day I went, the white waves were rolling in layers, accompanied by the sound of rain, like a poet reciting an immortal poem loudly, with a unique elegance. In such an atmosphere, it is easier to find another self deep in the soul. Because of the rain, I missed the only mini golf course in Hainan and many seaside amusement projects, but watching the sea quietly is already a luxury. The hotel has six restaurants and bars, and every meal here is well taken care of. The oil-splashed noodles in the Taste restaurant are especially delicious, and the Chinese food in the Chinese Elements restaurant and the Western food in the Zhiwei restaurant are also of high quality. Staying here, you can taste local Hainan cuisine and global specialties without leaving the hotel. If I want to give myself a perfect holiday next time, I will still choose here.
