Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! ❄️☃️🗻 It's officially the first day of Winter! Given the tropical climate in the Philippines, most Filipinos wonder what snow is like. Luckily for On-Program scholar JB, he had the wonderful opportunity to experience what the chilly season has to offer. "My friends and I went on a hike in New Hampshire during Thanksgiving weekend. As soon as we settled in our cabin in the middle of the woods, I inhaled the view for a second then never stopped taking photos. The snow effortlessly made nature more picturesque! As a tropical boy seeing snow for the very first time, I didn’t hesitate to stick my tongue out and taste snow and make snow angels. Snow core memory unlocked!" What would you do with snow? Let us know below!

An integral part of every Fulbright program is cultural exchange! It was a memorable evening as Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) On-Program teacher Anne performed the traditional “Subli” dance and shared the legend and symbolism of the Sarimanok during the Kababayan Learning Community's 20th Year Anniversary celebration. Thank you for sharing these photos with us, Anne!
