Over a thousand dermatologists and pharmaceutical partners gathered for the highly anticipated event of the year, the 47th Annual Philippine Dermatology Convention, held at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City from November 5–8, 2024. This year, the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) placed a strong emphasis on “Global Synergy,” fostering connections with international partners in the field of dermatology. As a proud partner of the PDS, we at Glenmark actively participated with enthusiasm and pride, showcasing our commitment to the field. Dressed in our finest Filipiniana attire, we welcomed guests to our Bahay Kubo-themed booth, where we highlighted our trusted brands and introduced new launches, including Oflomil and Dipsotrex B. Our booth became a hub of interaction, not only for Philippine-based dermatologists but also for international delegates who appreciated the cultural experience and professional exchange. True to our renowned Filipino hospitality, we warmly greeted and accommodated our visitors with traditional treats, such as warm taho and refreshing ice cream, making their experience memorable. The three-day event was a resounding success for Glenmark Philippines Inc. We eagerly anticipate more opportunities to collaborate and innovate as we continue to help patients achieve healthy skin.

Glenmark Philippines Inc. and the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) alliance for the Dermatology learning module series and Dermatology Atlas project (Peer Exchange), was formalized through a memorandum of agreement that was inked last, Aug 9, 2024 in the PAFP Building in Taft, Manila. Another FIRST for GPI as we continue to mark a well-defined presence in Dermatology! This initiative is geared towards keeping our commitment to be at the forefront of the Universal Healthcare (UHC) initiatives and reforms of the Philippines as well as advocating continuous professional development of the healthcare community, guaranteeing equitable access to quality diagnosis and treatment for all Filipinos.
