✨ Strengthening FinTech Synergies Between France and Poland ✨ From November 18 to 20, Business France Poland organized the exploratory Future Finance mission during the Warsaw Finance Week, accompanying a delegation of five innovative French companies : COFICERT, Cyclad, Proxym, Enovea and Keewe. France was the country of honor on November 19, highlighting the strong financial and technological ties between our two nations. 🔹 Day 1: Poland's Role in Global Finance The event kicked off with discussions on Poland's position in the global financial ecosystem, followed by dynamic startup pitches showcasing European innovation. The day concluded with a networking cocktail at PKO Bank Polski, Poland's largest bank, setting the tone for meaningful exchanges. 🔹 Day 2: Showcasing France as a FinTech Leader France's leadership in finance and technology was in the spotlight. Olivier Vigna, Deputy CEO of Paris Europlace, presented the strengths of the French financial market and its thriving FinTechecosystem. Panels featuring representatives from Business France Poland, the Francusko-Polska Izba Gospodarcza, and La French Tech Warsaw emphasized France's innovation. Highlights included a roundtable with Dariusz Mazurkiewicz, CEO of BLIK, on Poland's mobile payment revolution, and an insightful talk by Cristian Mocanu of COFICERT on sustainable finance and governance. The day ended with a reception at the French Residence hosted by Ambassador Etienne de Poncins, fostering informal networking and deepening connections. 🔹 Day 3: Exploring Collaboration Opportunities A Franco-Polish business breakfast hosted by the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce featured a presentation by Bartlomiej Posnow, Risk Director at Credit Agricole Bank Polska S.A., on Poland's banking ecosystem. A roundtable led by Joanna Mamczur, explored key differences between the French and Polish financial sectors, with insights from Bartłomiej Posnow and Romain Rebour form La French Tech Krakow. The delegation also met with Poland's financial regulatory authority, Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego, to learn about its progressive approach to supporting FinTech innovation. 💡 Key Outcomes: This three-day mission highlighted Poland’s potential in FinTech, opened doors for cross-border collaborations, and strengthened the France-Poland partnership.
