To infinity and beyond 🚀 Café & Tech # 4 - #SpaceTech edition This morning we united C-levels of the French and Krakow SpaceTech ecosystems around our traditional Café & Tech round-table breakfast, in collaboration with General Consulate of France in Krakow (Consulat général de France à Cracovie). We had the honnor to be hosted by Krakowski Park Technologiczny | Krakow Technology Park, represented by EU Project Manager and European Space Agency - ESA technology broker - Jarek Chojnacki. This is where ideas become real, thanks to their involvement supporting local startups and international programs. Following insightful discussions on contributions, projects, and potential collaborations in the French 🇲🇫 and Polish 🇵🇱 space industries, we enjoyed an exclusive tour of the National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS. Our guides, including the Center’s Director Jakub Szlachetko and Deputy Finance Director Michał Młynarczyk, shared their expertise and enthusiasm. Yes, #Krakow is home to its very own particle accelerator—the only one in Central and Eastern Europe! This nearly 100-meter diameter storage ring propels electrons to near-light speeds, enclosing them in a circular orbit. Among its many applications, it enables critical testing of space industry materials 🛰.
