2024 was simply wild.   As the year wraps up, we're looking back at everything we’ve done. It’s been an intense, rewarding, and often pretty challenging journey – but we certainly wouldn’t have it any other way! 🙌   We’ve been busy spreading knowledge, connecting with the IT community, and competing. Yet another edition of our Summer Internship took place, and thanks to it we many young talents have joined us. Everyone made time, and a lot of it, to meet up, keep the vibe alive, and remind ourselves why we enjoy doing what we do. We also supported local communities, did charity work, and stayed mindful of our planet. 🌍   Two new Sabre products were also launched in Kraków this year, which is the ultimate proof of teamwork, going above and beyond, and trying things out with the big picture in mind. We cheered loud and proud because, frankly, we earned it. 😎   In 2024 every single Sabre team member was key, as without mutual efforts of so many of us the results wouldn’t have been possible. 🏆   Wanna relive the highlights? At Sabre we’re all tech lovers, but not every office event is about technology – sometimes it’s just about kicking back, playing together, and learning something new.  🧠 Last week, right after our Sabre Talks meeting we swapped our keyboards for answer sheets at a Christmas pub quiz. 🎄 This casual competition in the festive spirit was just great. The Christmas spirit has arrived and it's all over our office, which made our year-end 2024 town hall cosy as ever! 🎄 We kicked it off with our leaders presenting a wrap up of the year and talking about our ideas for the next one. A special quiz then followed, where everyone got to test their knowledge about our everyday tasks, after which we all spent time dining, enjoying sweet treats, and building connections. 🎁 Coming together to share some laughs, thoughts and memories face to face is truly magical. Last week's meetup on disinformation co-organised with PMI PC Krakow Branch had our guests hooked. For many, it was a real eye-opener on how to spot fake news and protect yourself online. 📰 Understanding how to navigate the info jungle is not just smart — it’s essential in today’s world. Now we certainly feel safer and less susceptible to disinformation. 🔍 Huge thanks to our wonderful expert Robert Socha, to Tomasz for giving this event a great opening, and to the team that smoothly handled its organisation: Magdalena, Krzysztof, Jakub, Katarzyna, Paweł, Dominik. ✨ Can't wait for more such meetups and conversations in the upcoming year! 💬 #insidetheshift #PMI

Diversity and inclusion are essential for making all our team members feel like a part of a true community. 🌍 It’s no surprise that this time around our Sabre Talks were devoted to these values and their role in building company culture. 🌈 During this special meetup we looked at linguistic nuances in talking about inclusivity with our guests Kalina Tyrkiel and Olgierd Cichon, analysed cultural differences in talking about feelings, and explored our own practices in making Sabre Poland diverse. Our very first Sabre Talks meetup was simply great! Last week we gathered to spend some chill time together and talk in depth about Sabre Mosaic, one of the biggest 2024 achievements of our Kraków team. 🙌 Cezary Zminkowski opened this special meeting with a few personal remarks, our team members who worked on this solution shared their brilliant insights into this adventure, and many of us managed to hop on, making the energy at our office quite electric. 💡 A Q&A session complemented the presentations, followed by an integration through games and networking.
