💡Today the NOVA BHRE is at the BIICL (British Institute of International and Comparative Law) as Claire Bright and Anaïs Tobalagba, PhD are taking part in the workshop: 'Comparing National Supply Chains Laws for Human Rights: From the UN Guiding Principles to Corporate Practices'. 📚In particular, Claire and Anaïs presented their paper focusing on the lessons learnt from the French Duty of Vigilance Law and discussed the amendments to the French Law that will be needed in light of the transposition of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive on the panel on European Mandatory Human Rights Due Diligence, which also featured insightful discussions on the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act by Andreas Rühmkorf and Alina Ganser and on the Norwegian Transparency Act by Victoria Skeie and chaired by Dr Irene Pietropaoli. #HumanRights #SupplyChains #Sustainability #DueDiligence #CorporateResponsibility #NOVA_BHRE

🌍✨Today, the NOVA Centre on Business, Human Rights and the Environment participated in the fourth edition of the ESG Portugal Forum, as Claire Bright took part in a round table discussion on the implementation of due diligence across different sectors.
