At OmniumAI, we work tirelessly to develop the most effective and cutting-edge solution to the complex problems we face in transforming the food industry. We can only do this by having the most skilled and prepared team members and by continually investing in research and development. This is why we are proud to announce that Marta Sampaio, a co-founder, got her PhD by the School of Engineering at the University of Minho for her work in AI and bioinformatics, focusing on the grapevine, which is paramount in the F&B industry. In addition, 2 new PhD students are starting their research projects at OmniumAI this autumn. The first will involve the prediction of protein properties useful to the food industry using the most advanced ML methods. The second will use LLMs and other NLP tools to extract information from existing research into structured data that can be used to predict new properties.
