🚀DoIT Conference Recap: Connecting, Aligning, and Celebrating Success   Two years ago, we expanded our presence by opening new offices in 📍Iași and 📍Cluj. Today, our IT development department has grown to include over 300 colleagues across multiple domains, such as Software Developers and Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers, Quality Assurance and DevOps Engineers, working together to deliver outstanding results and embracing the latest technologies, such as Google Cloud Portal, GenAI, RPA and much more.   ⏩While digital tools make collaboration across Bucharest, Iași, and Cluj easier, there's nothing like coming together in person. Recently, our entire department gathered in Bucharest for the DoIT Event, a three-day meeting to align on long-term goals and celebrate our collective achievements.   🌟Key Highlights: ✔️Aligning on Long-Term Objectives: Colleagues from all locations came together to discuss the future of our department, share progress on key projects, and align efforts with our strategic goals for 2025. ✔️Celebrating Successes: We took time to recognize and celebrate the technical successes that have fueled our growth and innovation across teams. ✔️Collaborating with Orange Romania: We were joined by experts from Orange Romania, who shared valuable insights on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. 🌍 Strengthening Connections Through Face-to-Face Collaboration  Our Digital Learning Studio recently returned from an insightful and productive business trip to Orange’s headquarters in 📍Paris, where they had the pleasure of hosting workshops and presenting new ideas to our valued clients. This trip not only allowed them to share the latest innovations in eLearning but also deepened the relationships they have worked hard to build over time. 👉In today’s digital age, it's easy to rely on virtual communication, but there’s something irreplaceable about in-person collaboration. I’m Mihai Neagu, Service Engineer within the Network Shared Services and Operations Department. I’ve been at Orange Services for the past 6 years where I’m responsible for handling and ensuring the maintenance of chat bots that respond automatically to account issues, specifically in Africa region. 🖋️How did you discover your passion for photo/video? 📸❤️ My passion for photography has been long-standing, for about 14 years. When I was a child, my grandpa used to develop photos in the bathroom. In high school, I delved deeper into the art when I received my first DSLR camera as a birthday gift. I also truly understood the significance of preserving memories through photos when I came across an album filled with my own pictures created by my mother. 🖋️How much time do you dedicate to your hobby? ⏳ It varies from week to week. Lately, I've been dedicating more time to photography since I established a photo studio. Typically, I focus on events during Saturdays, primarily at the client's location. 🖋️What is the most challenging aspect of this hobby? 🤔 The biggest challenge is to break away from the routine and create something distinctive, rather than just what anyone can capture with a phone. 📱✨ 🖋️Does the technical part of your role help your passion, or vice versa? 🔄 They complement each other. In tech, we find the source of problems and think outside the box. In my hobby, I engage with various people and manage high-pressure situations as if they were critical incidents. 🖋️What are your future plans? 🌊 Right now, after some 180-degree changes, I just go with the flow. In the end, everything will fall into place at the right time.
