At the Combient Senior Executive Conference, on Friday last week, we had the privilege of hosting Dr. Lisa Su, the Chair and CEO of AMD, in a fireside chat with Peter Sarlin. Dr. Su shared her insights on the evolving landscape of high-performance computing and AI. She emphasized that “AI is in the beginning of the innovation cycle” and highlighted the importance of diverse compute solutions to drive business outcomes. Her vision of making AI more accessible through strategic collaborations like the one with Combient and AMD Silo AI is truly inspiring. Reflecting on the next 18-24 months, Dr. Su noted, “I can’t predict more than it will be much, much different than it is today.” As she also expressed, “I always wonder what next week will bring,” reminding us of the fast-paced nature of technological advancements.
