India-Sweden Innovation Day 2024 Sets Stage for COP29 Azerbaijan and COP30 Commitments on Industrial Decarbonisation
What a brilliant day! With over 400+ attendees in person and 800+ participants online, I feel so stoked that the 11th edition of India-Sweden Innovation Day was a remarkable success, showcasing the strength of the India-Sweden Innovation Partnership . 🙌 This year's theme, "Accelerating Green Growth for Inclusive Transition," reflects our commitment to driving sustainable innovation that not only advances technological and economic growth but also addresses climate resilience, nature preservation, and equity.

Throughout the day, we explored critical topics such as industrial decarbonisation, AI and digitalization, sustainable travel, energy transition, safe transport, @MakeInIndia, electromobility and sustainable cities, circular design in textiles, and the Sweden-India Tech Community, all while emphasizing the importance of ensuring that no one is left behind in the transition.
A warm thank you to the India Cement and Steel delegation, hosted by @LeadIT and partnering with the @Energy Agency of Sweden. Their work on decarbonizing emission-intensive industries will play a pivotal role in advancing these efforts.
