Om oss
Kromnigon is a biotech company that originated from new technologies for multicolor microscopy and multiplex IHC. Today, we have several IHC kits available on the market for multiplex immunostaining, along with exclusive bandpass filter sets that equip fluorescence microscopes with 7 color channels. We are continuing developing StreptaClick®-products for instant antibody labeling with a wide range of signalling molecules and for custom click applications, where StreptaClick® carries a pre-determined number of alkynes or azides.

We are happy to highlight a joint project carried out with ZEISS Group in 2024 that resulted in a poster that was presented by ZEISS Group at conferences organized by Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) and European Society for Spatial Biology (ESSB) e.V. In this project a co-optimized ZEISS Axioscan 7 microscope, combined with StreptaClick® technology, enabled high throughput multiplex immunoflureoscence imaging with 8-channel separation without the need for spectral unmixing. A compressed PDF version of the poster can now be downloaded from our website - contact us to receive it in higher resolution. https://lnkd.in/d9irZh8N

Publication alert: in November Lilli Bonstingl et al. published a novel method for advanced single-cell and spatial analysis with high-multiplex characterization of circulating tumor cells and tumor tissue in prostate cancer, the CoDuCo in situ assay. In this study the researchers image their samples with Slideview VS200 digital slide scanners (Evident Scientific, Tokyo, Japan) equipped with external LED light sources Xcite Xylis or Xcite Novem (Excelitas Technologies Corp., Mississauga, Canada), and a combination of filter sets including Kromnigon SpectraSplit filters. We are happy to see spatial proteomics being recognized as method of the year 2024 by Nature Methods. Kromnigon might not quite be there yet, but we believe that both our patented product lines StreptaClick and SpectraSplit have the potential to become important enablers to this field in the years to come. Make sure to follow us to learn more in 2025! https://lnkd.in/epNmXHh9

We are very proud to be certified by My Green Lab, and also very grateful to our hosts BioVentureHub and AstraZeneca for helping us put our sustainability ambitions into real action.
🌟 Congratulations to the lab-based BioVentureHub companies on achieving My Green Lab certifications! 🌟 At AstraZeneca, sustainability is a top priority, and it's essential to integrate it from the very beginning when building a company. After an 8-month journey of dedicated My Green Lab Training sessions, shared learnings, collaboration among BioVentureHub companies, and process optimization, the BioVentureHub companies have proudly earned their My Green Lab Certification! 🌿 This unique program, tailored specifically for companies at AstraZeneca’s R&D site in Gothenburg, has empowered each company to evaluate and enhance their lab processes with a focus on sustainability and efficiency. With customized support and training, the certification—valid for two years—applies to both newcomers and those seeking re-certification, ensuring a continuous commitment to excellence. 👏 Well done to everyone involved—we’re incredibly proud of you! 👏 The results are impressive, with companies achieving high-level certifications (Green, Gold, and Platinum) through their dedication and hard work. 💡 These achievements highlight the power of collaboration and sustainability at the core of the BioVentureHub. Have you ever wondered what other researchers have accomplished with our StreptaClick® and SpectraSplit® kits and microscope filters? We just made it easier to find out by listing a number of publications on the downloads and resources section of our website in which we have identified that our products are used. You will be surprised by the diversity of instruments where a SpectraSplit® 7 filter set can be installed! Is your publication missing from the list? We would love to hear from you in that case. https://lnkd.in/d9irZh8N

Kromnigon is delighted to be bronze sponsor among this esteemed list of companies and organizations at the upcoming ATMP Sweden 2024 meeting in Malmö November 25-26. Come to our booth to learn more about how our novel StreptaClick® Precision molecule can be a bridge between lipid nanoparticles and targeting antibodies, and other relevant applications.
The sponsorship support has been a little overwhelming this year 😍 We are so happy to be able to bring you this fantastic exhibit space of ATMP developers, product and service providers. They are not here to pay for your lunch, they are here to collaborate and ensure that patients get quickest access to the safest, most effective and affordable innovative medicines. Take a look through the list and make sure to visit those most relevant to you! https://lnkd.in/gut9mwxn We also recognise Region Skåne and Cancerfonden for their support of this event. We are honoured to welcome Anna Mannfalk from Region Skåne to officially open the event in Skåne on the 25th. We appreciate recognition from Cancerfonden of the importance of such an event, linked to fantastic oncology focused programs like SWECARNET. Big shout out to Tina Edberg Dirzowski for your volunteer support in pulling together the finances for our first year running the ATMP Sweden conference through Föreningen ATMP Sweden. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 25th of November! If you have not registered yet, please do so ASAP! Thank you for highlighting this combination of complementary products Oliver Garner and BergmanLabora AB!
BergmanLabora AB are proud to work with many of the defining labs and companies developing #SpatialOmics technology. Over the past years we have assisted researchers in building the fastest, most sensitive and robust microscope systems to enable precise results in these complex #multiplex experiments that in some cases can take weeks. The technical requirements differ, but through our global network of suppliers and high level of expertise and long experience have created systems that enable our customers to push the boundaries, delivering high-impact papers in the most prestigious journals. As a step to simplify system design to labs wanting to add this technology to their experimental capacity, we are happy to now provide components from the #Gothenburg based Kromnigon - a customer and company we have worked with for several years. Combining technologies from Nikon Microscope Solutions Europe, Teledyne Photometrics, CoolLED and Kromnigon delivers the fastest, highest sensitivity and most specific system for #SpatialTranscriptomic applications. Not only that, it would also deliver traditional #fluorescence #microscope functionality for standard and live-cell applications. BergmanLabora AB are happy to deliver these systems in #Sweden, #Finland and #Iceland. But feel free to contact us even if you are not based in these countries - we are here to help and can point you in the right direction! #SpatialBiology #SpatialTranscriptomics #SpatialProteomics #SpatialMultiomics #Microscopy Figure 1.
