🦟🚀From strategy to industrialisation with Acreto Acreto AB is a leader in mosquito control in the Nordics and distributes several different products for both indoor and outdoor use. In the past, they’ve focused on marketing and selling other companies’ products, which they’ve done successfully. When Acreto decided to develop their first proprietary supplementary mosquito product, they realized they needed help. This week, we hosted three inspiring seminars and workshops on the topic of sustainable product development. Together with representatives from different companies and industries we explored how the new Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) affect product development and companies’ business models. ☀️ ⛅ Simulation for more realistic dimensioning of solar panel mounting systems Semcon has supported several companies in the new and rapidly growing solar industry with wind load calculations, one of which is Nordmount. Read all about the project on our website: https://lnkd.in/dpbbnvs6 When designing solar panel systems for roof or ground installation, calculations are required to accurately size the mounting systems. The existing standards for, for example, wind load calculations can only partially capture the actual wind loads experienced by solar panels. "When we were to explore the best way to size our mounting systems for wind loads, it was crucial to receive assistance from experienced calculation experts.
