Navya Vikraman Nair – Navya is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sustainability Management (Water) at the University of Waterloo, Canada. She has represented young researchers at prominent international forums, including the 2023 United Nations World Water Conference and the 10th World Water Forum in Bali, where she won the "Favorite Presentation Award." Navya is an advocate for sustainable water management and youth inclusion in global water governance, bringing a transdisciplinary approach to her work in environmental sustainability.
Omar Faruk – Founder of 𝐖𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐱’𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫 and co-founder of the Asia Pacific Climate Project, Omar serves as Country Head at the Ocean Climate and Research Institute, Sri Lanka. Known for his regional and global advocacy, Omar has represented Bangladesh at COP28 UAE, the 10th World Water Forum in Bali (where he won the Youth Hackathon Gold Medal), and numerous other international platforms.
Rachana Mattur – A consultant specializing in civil society engagement in water management, Rachana was among the 60 Bali Youth Representatives at the 10th World Water Forum. With a background in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Water Management and Governance from IHE Delft, she combines technical expertise with a commitment to social science. Rachana leads in youth water organizations including the Water Youth Network and Youth for the Rhine and is dedicated to bridging communities and stakeholders in impactful water management projects, particularly for youth and women.
𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫: Meghna Chakkraborty – As the founder of South Asia Young Women in Water (SAYWiW), Meghna is committed to amplifying South Asian youth voices in water governance on global platforms. Her work focuses on supporting women and youth in water management roles, advocating for representation, and facilitating meaningful dialogues.
