Idag var det dags för möte med ”Life Science Malmö” som är ett av Medeon Science Park & Incubators nätverk. Jessica Martinsson från Sweden Bio presenterade kring frågeställningen ”Hur kan vi säkerställa att bolag stannar i Norden och hur får vi hit fler?” Sedan tog Anette Steenberg vid för en fördjupning i ”Nordisk samverka inom life science och ökad samverkan över sundet”. Ett axplock från dagens möte: - Det behövs en tydlig färdplan för att förverkliga den nationella life science strategin - Implementering av SweTrial på gång - Behövs aktiva satsningar för att locka produktion till Sverige - Vi måste bli bättre på att synliggöra svensk life science på den internationella marknaden. Behöver skapa en nationell berättelse! - Medicon Valley är en ledande life science region i EU. Om vi slog oss samman med Stockholm skulle vi vara ledande även i Europa! - Medicon Valley nämns i EU:s Draghi - rapport men finns inte med i varken den svenska eller danska life science strategin… - Sverige och Danmark borde gå samman inom ATMP - området för att uppnå en kritisk massa och nå större framgångar - Finns en möjlighet för Sverige och Danmark att tillsammans gå i fronten för Women”s health

Idag fick BioArctic representera företagsperspektivet med SwedenBIO när vi uppvaktade Acko Ankarberg Johansson och Regeringskansliet, Socialdepartementet med anledning av EUs kommande life-science strategi. 🧬💉💊🩻 Vi ska vara stolta över Sveriges life science strategi och bör därför ta på oss ledartröjan i EU. För att främja innovation är implementering av innovationerna i sjukvården helt avgörande för konkurrenskraft och en fungerande inre marknad. Tydlighet och transparens är också ledord vi bör ta med oss. 🇪🇺🇸🇪 Tack Jessica Martinsson, Jenni Nordborg, Sofia Wallström, Anna L., Emelie Antoni, Shahram Khorsand, The Swedish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry, LIF, SwedenBIO, och Swedish Medtech för gott samarbete. 🫰 Some people just stick with you. Years back, I supervised three boys doing their bachelor thesis project - which turned out to be a success. One of the boys came back to do his master thesis with me, and ended up as the first and only student that I supervised from start to PhD degree. And today, I had the absolute privilege to onboard him in a part time position at SwedenBIO. Who is he? Arash Zandian, a brilliant and creative data scientist and diagnostics expert. He joined SwedenBIO today to strengthen our team when creating the next edition of the #Pipelinereport. Looking forward to work with you Arash - AGAIN!
