Borås stad visar vägen för hållbar och ordnad mikromobilitet! 🌱💚🛴 Vi kan stolt meddela att Voi har vunnit Borås Stads upphandling för delade elsparkcyklar. Med ett tvåårigt kontrakt och 800 elsparkcyklar ser vi fram emot att fortsätta vårt samarbete med staden, där vi varit en mobilitetspartner sedan 2022. Denna upphandling är ett viktigt steg för att skapa långsiktigt hållbara regler för branschen - något vi redan sett positiva effekter av i till exempel Gävle kommun, där ordning och säkerhet har förbättrats samtidigt som resandet ökat sedan staden genomförde en upphandling. Den här typen av selektering låser upp mikromobilitetens potential. För Borås innebär det inte bara ökad ordning och bättre tillgänglighet för invånarna, utan också hållbara spelregler som gynnar både staden och de valda operatörerna. Did you know that one donation of blood can save three lives? ❤️ Earlier this week, our HQ in Stockholm had the privilege of hosting GeBlod for an informative session on blood donation with the ambition to encourage more people to save lives! It can be a struggle to find time for blood donations outside of work due to personal or professional commitments. By allowing our employees to do donations during working hours we can eliminate this barrier and enable an opportunity to give back without taking time out of their busy days - making it easier for people to contribute! Here are some thoughts from our employees: Camilla Törnell said "I've had a strong desire to donate blood for a while, but found it a bit intimidating. The visit from Blodcentralen was a turning point, giving me the push I needed to schedule my first appointment. It's truly fulfilling to be able to contribute and make a difference in saving lives." Sofie Cederberg, who has been donating blood for over a decade, said: "I've donated blood regularly for years. Knowing that I have blood type O-, which can be given to anyone and is often used in emergencies or for newborns, has been a driving force behind my continuous donations."

We took a moment to ask Eleni for some fun facts about herself. 🥧 I’m from Greece, and my grandmother’s spinach pie is my ultimate comfort food. It’s not just a dish; it’s a cherished memory that takes me back to my childhood. I can still picture her in the kitchen, rolling out the dough and mixing the spinach and feta by hand. To this day, every time I make or eat spinach pie, I feel a deep connection to my roots and my grandmother’s love. 🚶 I love spending time with my family on walks, taking the dog out and riding Voi scooters around the city. It’s a great way to unwind and feel even more connected to my work in micromobility. ⚖️ I’m passionate about corporate law because it allows me to support business growth while ensuring compliance in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Following the news that the UK Government has opened the door to new e-scooter trials, our UK General Manager James Bolton recently wrote a blog for Transport Times | News & Analysis | Events discussing his top three tips for city stakeholders considering launching their own schemes. Since beginning UK operations in 2020, Voi Technology has achieved almost 40 million e-scooter journeys, two thirds of every rental e-scooter journey in the UK. We have learnt a lot along the way about how to work with towns and cities to deliver safe, sustainable and affordable shared micromobility. Voi välkomnar Trafikanalys rapport om elsparkcyklar och eldrivna enpersonsfordon 🛴⚡ Förra veckan publicerade Trafikanalys sin rapport om "Användning, marknad och konsekvenser av elsparkcyklar och andra eldrivna enpersonsfordon". Voi är glada att se att denna viktiga kartläggning lyfter den avgörande skillnader mellan privata och delade fordon. Delade elsparkcyklar har under de senaste åren gjort stora framsteg inom säkerhet och teknisk utveckling. Som ledande aktör inom delad mikromobilitet har vi på Voi alltid arbetat för att uppfylla strikta regelverk och erbjuda en trygg och hållbar tjänst för våra användare och städer. 🌍💙 Rapporten pekar även på en betydande insikt – en stor andel av de rapporterade olyckorna involverar privatägda elsparkcyklar. Minst 37% (men garanterat en ännu större andel) av alla olyckor sker på privatägda fordon, och dessutom skadas fler barn i områden utan uthyrningstjänster. Sedan vår lansering 2018 har vi på Voi haft en 18-årsgräns och arbetar aktivt för att stärka säkerheten kring våra tjänster. Vi hoppas att Trafikanalys rapport kan bana väg för framtida regleringar som bygger på tydlig och separerad statistik för privata och delade elsparkcyklar. Passionate about winemaking, food and all things France, I embraced cultural diversity as a sommelier. While studying HR, joining Voi allowed me to connect theory with practice. Early on, I realised recruiters play a key role in either opening doors for new talent or unintentionally creating barriers which piqued my passion for creating inclusive workplaces. 🎤 Have any experiences from your time as a Talent Acquisition Partner helped you in your current role as HRBP? After working as a recruiter, I transitioned to an HRBP role to tackle similar challenges but from a different perspective – focusing on talent retention and fostering a more inclusive workplace. 🎤 What challenges did you face during your transition, and how did you manage to overcome them? Navigating labour law in complex employee relations wasn’t part of my responsibilities as a recruiter. Yes, I frequently communicated with candidates – making tough decisions when someone wasn’t the right fit – but I didn’t deal with the more sensitive aspects, like employee conflicts, grievances, or disciplinary issues. 🎤 How has stepping into this new role influenced your career goals and aspirations within the company? HRBPs are often expected to lead the charge on driving change, such as restructuring, leadership transitions or shifting company culture. But let’s be honest – culture change takes time! I’m excited to continue working on shaping and evolving our culture further. 🎤 What’s a fun fact about you that most people might not know? Grocery shopping feels like a sport to me. Each week, I create a colour-coded shopping list (for veggies, dairy, grains and so on) based on the best prices from local stores and new recipes I discover on social media.
