Om oss

WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award is one of the world's leading sustainability awards. We recognize and promote outstanding solutions to the most urgent challenges facing the world today. We award two international prizes: The WIN WIN Award of 1 million SEK has been presented yearly since 2000 in Gothenburg, Sweden, aims to stimulate creativity and long-term synergies – to ultimately benefit humankind, the environment and our shared future. The WIN WIN Youth Award was founded in 2018, aiming to empower and reward young people (13-29 years old) who play an active role in creating a more sustainable future. The Youth Award winner is rewarded with 50,000 SEK. Both winners will receive their awards at our annual Award Night in Gothenburg in October. Each year, we highlight one of the global urgent challenges through a theme. The theme 2025 is "Trailblazing Leadership", and we welcome nominations of individuals whose leadership has been instrumental in advancing sustainable and peaceful development. • Yesterday, the breakfast seminar 'Banbrytande Ledarskap – förenar, förnyar, förändrar' took place at YESBOX - Home of Entrepreneurs, with participants showing great engagement in leadership and sustainability 🌍 The morning began with a breakfast mingle, followed by a lecture on transformative leadership by Johan Holmén. He emphasized that, as climate change is a reality, everyone must act responsibly, take action, and focus on solutions that benefit both humans and nature 🌱 Afterward, participants engaged in a workshop and shared their reflections on leadership. These included the necessity of creating the right conditions for good leadership, the importance of showcasing positive examples from all sectors, and the need for us to recognise how our behaviors can have a significant impact on leading the way 🧭 After the workshop, Lotta Göthe highlighted that in order to successfully lead others and build bridges across gaps, working with resistance is crucial. By listening to and understanding why resistance exists, and what lies behind it, we can foster a shared vision and create sustainable change for a brighter future. ✨️ Thank you, CSR Västsverige, for this fantastic collaboration! ✨️ Thank you all for coming, and to Brunnsbo Musikklassen, for the lovely Lucia performance! #winwinaward #sustainability #leadership

  • A warm welcome to our new intern, Carolina Kristell, a student in the Sustainability Developer program at Yrgo ✨ Carolina has been interested in justice-related issues since childhood. Her passion for sustainability grew immensely after several years of volunteer work during the major refugee crisis in 2015, followed by roles as an integration coordinator and project leader. With the goal of deepening her knowledge of the three dimensions of sustainability, she decided to pursue an education as a sustainability developer 🌍 During her internship, she aims to learn as much about sustainability as possible while contributing to the research and organisational development within the WIN WIN team. Welcome aboard, Carolina! 🌱 "𝘞𝘐𝘕 𝘞𝘐𝘕 𝘎𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘨 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘷𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦. • For a leader facing complex challenges, being a trailblazer is essential for forging new paths and creating sustainable solutions for a brighter future. However, trailblazing alone is not enough. A true trailblazing leader does not gain authority simply through a title or position—it is earned through vision, a diverse range of skills and qualities, and the ability to inspire loyalty within a team while uniting people under a shared vision. If you know a leader who embodies these qualities, nominate them today at: winwinaward.org/theme2025 . . . What other skills and qualities do YOU think are essential for a leader to drive sustainable change? #winwinaward #trailblazingleadership #theme2025 #leadership #socialsustainability #sustainability #gothenburg #nomination #sustainabledevelopment #complexchallenges
