We are proud to round off 2024 with recognition for Mediacorp’s content at the recent Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA) and Promax Asia Awards! At this year’s AAA, CNA’s 𝙒𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙚 bagged awards in two categories: “Best Documentary Series” and “Best Factual Presenter” for the documentary’s presenter, Wei Du. A third win went to CNA’s time travel-themed game show 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩, which took the gong in the “Best Game or Quiz Programme” category. We also picked up a pair of wins at the Promax Asia Awards, which celebrates outstanding achievements in entertainment marketing and design. The event, jointly organized by Mediacorp, Orchid Bowl, NTUC U Sports and the @Singapore Union of Broadcasting Employees (SUBE), garnered strong participation for our inaugural Bowling Tournament! 💪 💪 The tournament wasn't just about knocking down pins, but building stronger bonds and fostering a vibrant workplace culture. It was an eventful few days for Mediacorp at this year’s Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF), one of the largest entertainment content marketplaces in the APAC region. Last week, we redoubled our efforts at elevating Singapore stories, collaborating with talent and partners, as well as embracing innovation and technology to create more engaging content for our audiences. We headlined several new initiatives, such as a partnership with one of China’s top production companies Linmon Media, a pre-sale deal with Netflix for our much-anticipated Chinese drama Emerald Hill, and a first-ever call-for-proposals for micro-dramas. We also unveiled three winners for the ATF x Mediacorp Drama Concepts & Co-Production Pitch, who each walked away with $10,000 in cash and an opportunity to collaborate with Mediacorp. Meanwhile, Angeline Poh, our Chief Customer & Corporate Development Officer, spoke on a panel about how branded content partnerships and performance marketing campaigns have helped our clients to boost sales and strengthen customer retention, while also serving as an important revenue stream for Mediacorp. And we capped off ATF with two packed sessions showcasing our entertainment and factual titles. Delegates got sneak previews of dramas such as Another Wok of Life and Unforgivable, CNA documentaries like The Waves That Changed Us and Black Thursday, and got to hear first-hand from the artistes and producers behind them.
