🌟 What an incredible 2 weeks in Germany for our Market Access startups! 🚀 This immersion program was packed with experiences designed to open doors and create opportunities for global expansion. Here's what our startups were up to: ✅ Ecosystem visits – They explored groundbreaking innovations at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Infineon Technologies, and WERK1 – the most startup-friendly place in Munich, getting a firsthand look at how these giants are shaping the future of tech. ✅ Trade fair visits – From electronicaFair and SPS – Smart Production Solutions to MEDICA - Leading International Trade Fair and the Digital Health Online Summit, they dived into global trends and connected with industry leaders. ✅ Exclusive business dinners – The startups had the chance to sit down with individually matched German experts, exchanging insights, building connections, and even sparking potential collaborations. The time for action is now – the GREENTECH FESTIVAL Singapore brought together innovators and change-makers driving sustainability forward. Themed 'Tear Down, Rethink, Rebuild for Tomorrow', the event stressed the need to radically rethink our entire system in order to tackle climate issues, through the thought-proving panels featuring key players and climate leaders that dived into multiple pressing climate issues, including: 💡 Corporates need to start measuring their Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in order to establish a baseline, in order to pinpoint focus areas for emission reductions 💡 Corporate-startup partnerships and collaborations are key to driving sustainability across various industries such as energy, manufacturing, and logistics 💡 The carbon market trust crisis and and how regulations and quality assurance is critical to establish credibility for carbon credits 💡 The energy requirements and carbon output of Large Language Models and Generative AI is an emerging issue that needs resolving 👏 The heartening highlight? Learning about the impactful startups and companies at the forefront of change. Rotem Inbar, Head of Climate Tech Competence Center at Start2 Group had the honour of moderating one of the startup slams, where Diaper Recycling Technology ultimately emerged as grand finalist - congratulations! Together, we left the festival inspired and more determined than ever to accelerate the shift towards a sustainable future.
