It was an eventful start to December for 𝐑𝐞𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐗, SMU's premier alumni a cappella performance group. On 5 December, they performed to a packed audience at The Esplanade Co Ltd's Voices - A Festival of Song. Two days later, they joined the newly elected student leaders for the annual 𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐗 Leadership Experience (VLE) meeting. Traditionally held at the end of the year, this event serves as a crucial touchpoint for past student excos to share advice and guide the undergraduates on their plans for the year ahead. #SMUYPHSL was delighted to invite our LLM and Juris Doctor alumni back on campus for the annual SMUYPHSL Postgraduate (PG) Alumni Networking session. Our current postgraduate students. took this unique opportunity to join the session and to engage with their seniors over some ice breakers in a game of Bingo, and a subsequent surprise lucky draw. In her welcome remarks, SMUYPHSL Dean Prof Lee Pey Woan shared about challenges and opportunities in the school’s endeavours and encouraged all PG alumni to stay connected with the school and to look out for exciting upcoming activities on the horizon, in conjunction with the celebration of SMU’s 25th Anniversary in 2025. Prof Lee also sought alumni’s support to step forward as mentors for current students through the POLARIS mentorship programme. HK Alumni Dinner with SMU President 🎉 Earlier this month, our Hong Kong-based alumni gathered for a memorable dinner with SMU President Prof Lily Kong. It was a wonderful evening of shared memories, reminiscing about school days, and looking ahead to the exciting future of our alma mater. 🏫✨ The evening was filled with meaningful conversations as alumni reconnected and made new friends. Prof Kong shared inspiring updates on SMU's growth, the upcoming SMU25 celebrations, and exciting new alumni benefits.
