Exciting times for mediation in Latin America! SIMC recently conducted a Specialist Mediators' Workshop in Costa Rica, bringing together 24 senior professionals from across the LATAM region representing countries like Costa Rica, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Panama, Guatemala, Netherlands and USA. We are especially pleased that this workshop coincided with Costa Rica’s signing and upcoming ratification of the Singapore Convention on Mediation. Once ratified, Costa Rica will become a party to the Singapore Convention—a significant step forward for cross-border commercial mediation in LATAM. At SIMC, we are witnessing remarkable growth in commercial mediation from LATAM countries, where mediation continues to prove invaluable for businesses seeking efficient, effective dispute resolution. #Mediation #SingaporeConvention #SIMC #LATAM #CrossBorderDisputeResolution
