XPRIZE Water Scarcity Competition 📅 Gentle reminder on registration for the XPRIZE Water Scacity completition, submission deadline is on Feb and Apr 2025. 💧 The XPRIZE Water Scarcity is a $119 million, 5-year global competition designed to drive widespread access to clean water by creating reliable, sustainable, and affordable seawater desalination systems. XPRIZE Water Scarcity is made possible by the generous support of our title sponsor, the Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative. It is the largest prize in history, and it is dedicated to a critical mission - helping drive a world where clean water is equitably and sustainably abundant and enabling people and the environment to prosper. 💡 The winning teams will create new desalination solutions to enable future-proof water supply for communities and ecosystems. These solutions must be scalable, cost-effective, reliable, and resilient in a changing climate. The Singapore Water Exchange (SgWX) held a networking session on 7 August 2024. This was held in conjunction with the celebrations for Singapore’s National Day. Over 50 tenants joined in to learn more about the new initiatives PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency is rolling out to help start-ups grow, expand and find business opportunities overseas. We also introduced 6 new tenants who have joined the community in the first half of 2024.
