Avoid importing international talent and imposing external practices, as this top-down approach often leads to high turnover and hinders long-term success ✅ Recognize that Southeast Asia isn't a monolith, and each country requires a tailored strategy. Customize your business model to fit the specific market conditions, be it emerging markets with low margins and high volumes or Pacific Rim cities with higher GDPs, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach ✅ Establish a proven and profitable business model before scaling in today's environment of scarce capital. Southeast Asia is set for a decade of robust growth, with GDP projected to rise by an average of 5.1%. Vietnam and the Philippines are expected to lead the pack at over 6%, with Indonesia close behind at 5.7%. Despite global challenges, the region is on track to outpace China in both growth and FDI.
