The difference between the real and online photos of Shirakawa-go in autumn is huge!

🎈I want to share my experience of visiting Shirakawa-go on November 21, 2024. 😔 I saw some photos online and thought they were beautiful, so I decided to visit Shirakawa-go again. But I found out that the photos might have been AI-generated! 😭 ❤️ Shirakawa-go is a World Heritage Site. I visited in the summer of 2016. 😕 This time, I found that there weren't many red leaves. I kept telling myself that maybe I missed the season. 😖 To be honest, the autumn scenery was not as dreamy as the online photos. 😒 The weather was not good either. It was mostly cloudy, with only 2 hours of sunshine, and then it became cloudy again. It even rained a little today. 🎈 The red leaves in the village were scattered. 😜 The best red leaves were at the entrance of Honkakuji Temple. There was a big yellow ginkgo tree next to Myosenji Temple. 😒 There were many dark red trees on the hillside, but the color was not nice. 🌟 The most convenient way to get to Shirakawa-go from China is to fly to Nagoya. You can take a bus to Takayama and stay overnight, then take a bus to Shirakawa-go for a day trip. The village is small, so half a day is enough. 🌈 I saw some postcards with pictures of Shirakawa-go in the snow, and it looked beautiful. I decided to visit again in winter if I have the chance! 😃
