New Zealand North Island
#2023 tripblazers
Tauranga is situated in the Bay of Plenty at the North Island of New Zealand. It has an airport with flights to Wellington and Auckland but I suggest you hire a car for the 3 hour trip. Roads are not too good once you get away from the city and trips take longer.
The weather is nice and relatively and it is a beautiful drive. The houses and streets do take you back in time but once you reach Tauranga you will be impressed with the beautiful beach and fresh air.
The town has a number of restaurants and lovely streets with many citrus trees, advocado trees and kiwi plantations can be found around. Wine is grown nearby but I was shocked by the prices, some 2 or 3 times more than NZ wine costs in Europe. Lovely walks around Mount Maungaui and find your own sea food including abalone.
If you have a car I recommend a visit to the towns around including Rotorua with it's steam rising from the ground and spring water. Rotorua is a nice town with good restaurants (great Korean food) and I can recommend a stay in the Holiday Inn next to the spring spa.
Other visits in the area are the Hobbiton Movie Set, Taupo and Hamilton.
Tauranga is a small town next to Mount Maunganui - there were a lot of opportunities to go shopping or to find some places to eat. It‘s a good stay if you plan to go up the mountain!
This little mountain in New Zealand is sooo beautifull! On top you have a clear view and with luck you can even see the volcano! 🙊 The beaches are are breathtaking with sweet little cafés in between.
nice cafe
I was looking for a place i could work for a few hours. So, decides to come here and found a comfy nook table with a powerpoint, making it an ideal remote workspace for the day. They have QR codes on the tables, so you can order and pay conveniently without human interaction if you wish.
I started with a coffee which arrived promptly and during the day I sampled both coffee blends on offer. After my first coffee, my colleague arrived for a meeting and we ordered some breakfast. I went with the mushrooms on toast with avocado and feta.

nice local cafe
This is a lovely cafe with great coffee, where one can also get some small stuff to eat. I got an info card with my pour over, which was nice. Overall a sweet place with great coffee and helpful baristas. The small, but intimate, interior is perfect low conversations, or for the extroverts, engaging the other patrons in lively chats. Try the cakes and slices, perfect with your cuppa. Parking is on-street, and there’s a short walk up the drive.

nice food
I ordered the T-Rex brekkie (half) - that was absolutely delicious. Although I ordered half, it just perfect for me. I also had a cup of hot chocolate that I enjoyed as well. Nicely presented and terrific flavours.
I heard the Chilli Eggs were good too! Good coffee and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and so much of it! The service was great. Overall the best bottomless brunch I have ever been to. Will definitely be returning!

nice food
This bustling café offers a delightful brunch experience that's worth braving the weather for.
The menu is a foodie's dream. I savored their black sesame salmon bagel with chive cream - a perfect blend of flavors that showcases Sarnies' knack for elevating classic dishes.
The addition of crispy tater tots was a comfort food bonus. My companion's Turkish egg breakfast, customized with hard-boiled eggs at their request, demonstrated the kitchen's flexibility and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Record a day of walking on a person
suggest that you give me a shining praise! !
Ke Ke and the wild elephant are still sleeping on the boat, I have already arrived at the hiking spot to start walking.
The weather is very good. There are dark clouds and the sun. Although 3 kilometers is not too long, you can see the beautiful scenery along the coastline of the island. But for a person who is not very passionate about hiking, the ups and downs of 3 kilometers are also very challenging.
This is a particularly beautiful road, on the one side is the virgin forest on the side of the waves. At the end of the island is the spreading beach. I walked on the lawn for more than an hour.
Its wonderful time for yourself. I thoroughly fell in love with myself.
Tauranga is the commercial center of the Bay of Plenty, the sixth largest city in New Zealand. We arrived at the night and we decided to skip Tauranga back to Auckland. This sensible decision brought a thrilling journey of dark trails. .
I encountered a waterfall on the way, stopped to look at the scenery, I was going to punch the card, but found that the waterfall is an abandoned gold mine, which is a deep and deep mine tunnel, which was developed into a trail! There are almost no people outside the mine, and there is no one in the mine tunnel!
We were misled by the light at the end of the tunnel. Uncle Bird thought it was just a hundred meters experience. However, when we walked to the light, we saw that there was another tunnel in front and there was no light. At that time, we felt that we were either going back or going forward, and a group of curiosity-driven adults made the decision not to go back. I started this one-hour claustrophobic journey.
Whenever we are in the dark, we are almost rushing through the stunned fear, and the front tunnel will always have a little shimmer in the right way, which makes people feel courage to move on, but come to The light spot was found to be just a hole in the cliff, like a window in a tunnel, and the front is still an endless dark trail.
When we finally see the light again, suddenly there is a feeling of rebirth, is this not like our life? How many times we have to give up, but the light is actually in front!
Of course the brightest thing is to come to a gourmet petty bourgeoisie.
