Administrators |
Administrators are experienced and trusted Wookieepedians who have been elected by the community to enforce site policies and carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks. Administrators have "sysop rights," a set of tools that allow them to delete pages and block users. Like every Wookieepedian, administrators are required to follow all policies, and as active community leaders, they can be contacted for advice and information about Wookieepedia.

AnilSerifoglu |
AnilSerifoglu developed a deep affection for Star Wars after discovering the 2008 The Clone Wars animated series. His primary area of interest on Wookieepedia revolves around all things canon, but he possesses a particular fascination with the Battlefront games. Since 2015, Anil has been actively editing on the wiki and finds (mostly) great pleasure in consistently updating his status articles.
In his everyday life, Anil resides in Turkey and has shifted his focus to linguistics studies after finding no happiness in pursuing a degree in physics.

Ayrehead02 |
Ayrehead is an English administrator who was introduced to Star Wars through seeing The Phantom Menace in cinemas as a child and has immersed himself in everything the franchise has had to offer since. He has been around on Wookieepedia since 2010, and so is well versed in Legends, but focuses on canon these days, spending most of his time nominating minor background characters from the films.
|
Bonzane10 |
Bonzane10 (Bon for short) is an admin who started editing back in February 2023. He was first exposed to Star Wars through LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy on the PS 2.
Bonzane mainly updates and maintains current canon materials, though he dabbles on Legends content occasionally. Aside from that, he has a huge focus on video game coverage, leading WP:VG as well.
|
Cade Calrayn |
Cade Calrayn, more commonly just Cade, is an American administrator mostly known as a old wizard who lives in a tower in Texas and emerges irregularly with new dark science involving Regex, Python and Lua. He has edited the site since 2010, and primarily focuses on Old Republic era content and sitewide backend work. Since his return to the site in 2021, he has run the JocastaBot and C4-DE Bot bots that serve the Wookieepedia Discord, and plays a great deal of Final Fantasy XIV while working as a senior software engineer in his real life.
|
Cavalier One |
Cavalier One is a British administrator who began editing Wookieepedia in 2007. A fan since seeing the original films as a kid, it was the wider Expanded Universe, starting with The Thrawn Trilogy, that cemented his love of Star Wars.
Cav currently focuses on working on subjects relating to the first Star Wars roleplaying game by West End Games. The game might be over 30 years old, but Cav is still constantly finding new articles to create.
|
DarthRuiz30 |
DarthRuiz30 is a Mexican administrator who joined in 2014. Ruiz, who has been a Star Wars fan since he can remember, grew up with Dave Filoni's Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which made him more interested in the franchise. On Wookieepedia, he mainly supervises the Recent changes on the lookout for vandalism.
Besides Star Wars, Ruiz enjoys playing video games and watching TV shows and movies.
|
Grunny |
Grunny, an Aussie, first joined Wookieepedia back in 2005, but really dove into regular editing in 2008. He has been an obsessive fan of Star Wars since getting the original trilogy VHS boxset as a child. Grunny enjoys both Legends and the new canon, but the strength of nostalgia always brings him back to Legends material, particularly the X-Wing novels, WEG RPG books, and the many comics series. He has a particular interest in editing articles about Star Wars technology, starships, and small characters from the comics and RPGs.
|
Imperators II |
Imperators II has been editing Wookieepedia articles since 2007 and to this day can't understand how he made do without Wookieepedia before that. Imperators reviews status article (Featured, Good, and Comprehensive) nominations as a member of all three respective review panels. His main love on the site, however, is writing up articles on astrographical subjects, such as planets and star systems.
|
JediMasterMacaroni |
JediMasterMacaroni is an American administrator who has been addicted to this site since 2020. Proud to be (as far as he knows) the first Modern Orthodox Jewish admin, he has been a fan his whole life but became obsessed in 2019.
Macaroni edits an array of topics but particularly enjoys food, Ewoks, Mon Calamari, and anything that falls under the purview of "silliness taken seriously." You can find him nominating and reviewing articles and on Discord.
|
Master Fredcerique |
Master Fredcerique, also referred to as Fred for short, is a Texifornian administrator who has been editing since 2008. His only major claim to fame is being tangentially part of Star Wars canon as a Batuuan who worked in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland. Fred is unapologetically Californian, though he's from Texas, which is merely one of his many contradictory traits.
On the wiki, Fred likes to contribute to articles related to his homeworld of Batuu, as well as ones related to the 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars series. His religious beliefs include the doctrine that the Nelvaan Vader vision is superior to the Mortis one.
|
NBDani |
NBDani, or simply Dani, is an American editor whose default emotion is excitement. While they were always a fan since they played with LEGO set 7101, their obsession began when bingeing all eleven movies + three animated series in 2019. They came to Wookieepedia in 2021 to gather info on who appeared in various canon comic series. They made a few edits while browsing, introduced the community to the word pog, and now enjoy weaponizing their hyper-fixation on improving articles related to the animated series Star Wars Resistance.
Outside of Wookieepedia, Dani loves LEGO and cares for a few pets (cat, dog, fish, and rat).
|
OOM 224 |
OOM first ventured into the galaxy far, far away via the mighty LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary, sparking an incessant spiral of reading and writing whatever happens to catch his eye. This Hong Konger–Scottish admin enjoys reviewing articles and promoting an evermore welcoming community. They especially love exploring cross-media connections—the timeline of galactic history, Abeloth, democracy, Palitoy, and The Vow of Silver Dawn pages are prime examples!
|
Spookywilloww |
Spookywilloww, or spookly for short, is an American administrator who began editing in 2018. Her main focuses on Wookieepedia include canon novels and reviewing status article nominations. She especially enjoys many of Claudia Gray's books, most notably Master & Apprentice.
Outside of Wookieepedia, spookly serves as a bureaucrat of the Warriors Wiki and is a member of the Fandom Stars program. She can often be found nursing a caffeine addiction.
|
Tommy-Macaroni |

On Wookieepedia, Tommy is a member of the Inquisitorius and AgriCorps so spends much of their time on the site reviewing articles. His in-universe specialty is articles on Star Destroyers and other Imperial starships.

Responsibilities
Administrators are Wookieepedia users with "sysop rights," which are fully listed on Special:ListGroupRights. Administrators are expected to use these sysop tools to enforce site policies on Wookieepedia, which are determined through a system of community consensus. The administration is responsible for acting in the interests of the Wookieepedia community as active leaders.
While administrators have access to certain features and are therefore responsible for maintaining them via sysop rights, the wider Wookieepedia community is encouraged to request changes, such as updating the site interface and adjusting protected templates; administrators should act on such suggestions as policies permit. The administrators' noticeboard is among various ways of contacting administrators.
The Administrators' how-to-guide, Administrators' reading list, and Special:AdminDashboard are also useful resources in carrying out administrative tasks.

- Counter sockpuppetry via CheckUser.
Chat moderation
Administrators automatically receive server moderator status ("administrators" role) on Wookieepedia's official Discord server and have access to moderation tools on the Discussions forum. Both platforms have additional rules, as listed on Discord#Rules, Discussions#Rules, and Discussions Guidelines. Bureaucrats additionally have full Discord server permissions during their tenure, including viewing and managing all private channels, but consultation channels shall be deleted upon archiving.
- Work with Discussions moderators in moderating both the Discord server and Discussions.
- Manage bots and channel access and information on the Discord server, including use of the #announcements channel, consultation channels, and WookieeNights.
- Monitor the Discord server's audit log and #admin-help and #admin-requests channels.

- Hide edit revisions via RevisionDelete (bureaucrats only).
- View deleted content.
Interface management
Administrators can manage the appearance and functionality of Wookieepedia to the extent allowed by Fandom's Customization policy by editing Mediawiki pages.
- Maintain the style and functionality of the interface using CSS and JavaScript (including Fandomdesktop.css, FandomMobile.css, and Gadgets, accessible via Special:Preferences).
- Maintain the Main Page and the main wiki navigation bar.
- Maintain the Community and Welcome, newcomers portals.
- Change the text of software messages seen on various pages, including the page that blocked users see when attempting to edit, the file upload form, and the Fandom platform–wide site descriptions.
- Site announcements send notifications to all users who have edited, upvoted, posted on Wookieepedia in the past 90 days.
- When site notice is used, readers would see it in a pop-up box in the lower left corner across Wookieepedia.
- When Anonnotice is used, logged-out readers would see it in the pop-up box instead, restricting the standard site notice (if in use) to logged-in users.
Managing partnerships
- Responsibly represent the Wookieepedia community and act in its interests, which may include coordinating with Wookieepedia's Social Media Team and collaborating with Fandom staff.
- Establish and promote partnerships with the wider Star Wars community, such Lucasfilm or its affiliates and charity initiatives.
- Modify the site interface, theme, and specially made pages (e.g. Wookieepedia:Star Wars: Uprising Super Walkthrough, comic previews on Discussions, and Podathon) for the purposes of partnerships.

- Demote administrators in accordance with Requests for removal of user rights and the Activity requirements (bureaucrats only).
Becoming an administrator
Experienced and trusted Wookieepedians may be elected by the community to become administrators. A Request for adminship ("RFA") lasts for two weeks and is subject to the voting requirements listed on that page, which include the nominee needing to have contributed to the site for at least one year with regular interactions with fellow users in a fair and constructive manner.
Administrators may choose to resign, be blocked due to policy violations, or be otherwise demoted in accordance with Requests for removal of user rights or the Activity requirements.
Becoming a CheckUser
CheckUsers are administrators with access to the CheckUser tool, which allows them to look up the IP addresses of registered user accounts for the purposes of combating sockpuppetry. Fandom staff have the CheckUser tool as well.
CheckUsers are nominated through Requests for CheckUser ("RCU") and then granted the CheckUser tool at the discretion of Fandom. The current CheckUsers are:
Becoming a bureaucrat
Bureaucrats are administrators with additional powers and responsibilities. They use the RevisionDelete tool and manage user rights for bots and administrators in accordance with community consensus and policies.
Bureaucrats are elected through Requests for bureaucratship ("RFB"). The current bureaucrats are:
Activity requirements
Administrators should meet a regular level of productivity. Those who are unable should place the {{Vacation}} template or a similar message at the top of their userpage.
An administrator who does not make at least 250 non-userspace, non–talk page edits and use their sysop tools at least once within a six-month span of their adminship is eligible for removal (bot edits count toward the edit total if the administrator is actively using a bot). However, the administrator must first be cautioned by another administrator among the administration if the requirements are not being met. They may explain their relative inactivity and provide an expected date for returning to the required activity levels. The administrator shall be warned about their activity levels if they fail to achieve the activity requirements by their specified date; demotion will occur if they fail to either provide or adhere to another explanation and expected date of return.
Also, if an administrator has not edited or used their sysop tools for four months, then attempts to communicate should be made, including a warning—which should be repeated at five months of absence—that they shall be demoted at six months of absence.
Administrative autonomy
An administrator may not unilaterally overturn any administrative action by another administrator without a group consensus from the rest of the administration. The basis of this administrative autonomy policy is that administrators are responsible for enforcing site policies as a group, trusting each other with appropriately using their powers, such as deleting articles and blocking users, to keep Wookieepedia running as smoothly as possible.
Rules
- No single member of the administration may overturn any action by another administrator without a group consensus from the rest of the administration. The following exceptions apply:
- Undeletion – An item may be undeleted if there is canonical evidence to justify its existence, pursuant to the Notability policy, or if it was clearly deleted erroneously, such as a file being deleted for being unused despite the contrary. A file may also be undeleted by request if it is intended to be used.
- Page protection – If an administrator places a permanent protection of any level or type on an article, administrative autonomy expires six months after the protection's original institution.
- Former administrators – Administrative autonomy does not apply to former administrators. With the exception of blocks (see below), any decision by a former administrator may be overturned by a current administrator at any time.
- Decisions approved by community consensus, such as page deletions voted through the Trash compactor process, are not affected by administrative autonomy (i.e. they should not be reversed without a community vote) as they are subject to the Consensus policy instead.
Reversing an administrator's decision
- In the event an administrator feels that another administrator's decision should be overturned, a good-faith effort should be made to discuss the issue with them.
- To determine whether to overturn any administrative decision, including blocks issued by a former administrator, the entire administration must be contacted (e.g. a ping on Discord)—with each administrator asked to respond and given the opportunity to participate in relevant discussions—and come to a majority agreement. If an administrator is on a hiatus (e.g. using {{Vacation}}), the administration need not wait for outstanding responses after a period of 2 days, though a longer waiting time is recommended for non-urgent matters.
Administrative abuse
If you think an administrator has acted improperly against you or another user or otherwise violated site policies, you may express your concerns directly to the administrator responsible and attempt to resolve the issue with the Dispute resolution guidance if you feel comfortable doing so. Otherwise, contact another administrator through any of the methods listed on the Contact page, including via Message Wall on Fandom's Community Central, which is regulated by its own staff rather than Wookieepedia administrators.
You may instead reach out to Fandom staff, such as Community Manager Spongebob456 (Chris), in severe cases.
In extreme circumstances, administrators can be removed from their positions via a Requests for removal of user rights vote.
