Benaulim MLA pushes for better facilities, infra in 2025

Colva: AAP’s Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas demanded govt to improve public facilities in 2025. He also urged govt to stop the water diversion of Mhadei river by winning the court case in the SC.
Viegas called for improved infrastructure in education and health, including sub-centres.
He also stressed the need for immediate road safety measures to prevent daily fatal accidents.
He further said some departments have not utilised 40% of their budget allotments, an issue he plans to raise during the Feb assembly session.
Benaulim MLA said about improvements in electricity, but highlighted that all villages in Goa still lack uninterrupted power. The same is true of water supply, as it remains irregular in certain areas during summer.
