Allu Arjun's "Pushpa 2: The Rule" dominated the Indian box office for its third weekend, raking in over ₹75 crore and surpassing ₹1062.9 crore net. The film beat new releases, sold over 50 million tickets, and is on track to become the third highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, exceeding ₹1500 crore gross in just 18 days.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule' had another phenomenal run at the box office over its third weekend. The film starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika in the lead, went on to cross the Rs 75 crore mark on its third weekend, thus retaining its number 1 spot at the Indian box office for the third consecutive weekend.
The film which was off to a record-breaking start at the Indian box office, earning an estimated Rs 725.8 crore in its first week, went on to add another Rs 264.8 crore to its collections in its second weekend.

Entering its third weekend with a moderate collection of Rs 14.3 crore on Friday, the film saw a significant rise in numbers on Saturday, earning Rs 24.75 crore. Sunday witnessed further growth, with collections soaring to Rs 33.25 crore.


The film's total collection now stands at an estimated Rs 1062.9 crore net. Of the total collections earned, the Hindi version of the film raked in over Rs 679.65 crore while the Telugu version came in second, earning Rs 307.8 crore. The Tamil version came in third with a collection of Rs 54.05 crore.

'Pushpa 2' emerged as the number-one film in the country, beating out even new releases like 'Mufasa: The Lion King'. Since its release on December 5, the film has reportedly sold over 50 million (5 crore) tickets. It has also become the most-watched movie in India post the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the film is set to cross 1500 crores gross at the worldwide box office in just 18 days and is already the third highest-grossing Indian movie after Baahubali 2 (1790 crores gross approx.) and Dangal (2070 crores gross approx.).
