Qatar Africa Business Forum (QABF) in #Morocco? Checked and Inspiring. Qatar 🇶🇦 and Morocco 🇲🇦 have joined forces to create the Qatar Africa Business Forum (QABF), a platform dedicated to bridging cultures, boosting economies, and advancing progress through entrepreneurship, innovation, and the creative economy. 🎙 At the 3rd edition of this forum, we took part in a panel discussion where we reflected on a decade of integrating entrepreneurship into education and explored the path forward. Our focus remains on leveraging EdTech to enhance self-learning, strengthen global connections with mentors and investors, and create meaningful opportunities across ecosystems. These reflections, shared by our CEO, Houda Ghozzi, PhD, highlighted our continued commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in Africa. The panel, moderated by Elyas Felfoul, Director at World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) Qatar Foundation, brought together key speakers who provided different perspectives: 🔵 Stavros N. Yiannouka, CEO, WISE Qatar Foundation: Emphasized the importance of foundational literacy as the cornerstone for advanced skills like critical thinking and digital fluency, critical for Africa’s development. 🔵 Yassine LAGHZIOUI, CEO, UM6P Ventures: Declared, “AI is here to stay,” while showcasing how UM6P is integrating tools like ChatGPT into its curriculum to address Africa’s challenges and empower future generations of students. 🔵 Selma Talha Jebril, Research & Policy Director, WISE Qatar Foundation: Opened the discussion with a compelling overview of Africa’s opportunities and challenges, setting the tone for engaging conversations. 🔵 Ajibola Odukoya, COO, AfriLabs: Discussed how EdTech can address youth unemployment, develop leadership skills, and drive economic growth across the continent. We discussed the priorities to nurture a stronger AI ecosystem in #Africa and make sure that our continent is part of this fourth revolution!
