HSE WEEK 2024 PowerGen hosted an incredible HSE Week from June 10th-14th, at our Point Lisas and Penal Power Plants. From self-defence and disaster management to energy efficiency and personal security, we covered it all. Highlights included earthquake safety, sustainable agriculture, health screenings, mental health sessions, road safety, and our HSE Wellness Caravan packed with fitness demos and healthy meals. We welcome thirteen interns to PowerGen’s 2024 Graduate Internship Programme, a three-month journey of professional growth and development. This year marks the second instalment of this initiative. Throughout the programme, our graduate interns will gain meaningful learning experiences, enhancing their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a practical work environment. The PowerGen’s Graduate Internship Programme and the PowerGen’s Vacation Trainee Programme are one of the many ways in which PowerGen impacts our nation through youth intervention, in keeping with one of our core values- ‘We Care for Country’ #PowerGenProud

Congratulations to the PowerGen Penal Under-19 Cricket Team! We are thrilled to announce that our talented young cricketers have been selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers International School Cricket Tournament 2024! This year's tournament, marking its 34th edition, kicks off on Monday, July 3rd in Barbados. With 18 teams competing and matches set to be played across various locations on the island, we know our team will make us proud.
