On April 15, 2019, a devastating fire took Notre-Dame Cathedral away from millions of visitors who came each year to pray, admire its marvels, and feel the weight of centuries of history.   From this tragedy emerged an ambitious project: 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭, 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭—thanks to the endless possibilities of virtual reality.   This vision gave rise to the first Immersive Expedition: 𝐸𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑁𝑜𝑡𝑟𝑒-𝐷𝑎𝑚𝑒, produced by Orange, created by Excurio (formerly Emissive), written by Bruno Seillier, and operated by Amaclio Productions at the foot of the cathedral. Since then, 𝐸𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑁𝑜𝑡𝑟𝑒-𝐷𝑎𝑚𝑒 has crossed borders. It is now offered not only in France, but also in China, in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, and Hangzhou, by VIVE Arts.   The Excurio team is deeply moved and thrilled by the reopening of Notre-Dame. The immersive expedition continues to welcome visitors, providing a unique way to rediscover this timeless monument and the craftsmanship of its restorers.   👉 A production in partnership with the Public Institution for the Conservation and Restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Diocese of Paris, and the City of Paris. 👉 With the scientific contributions of Dany Sandron, Professor of Art History and specialist in Gothic architecture at Paris-Sorbonne, and Cristina Dagualita, Ph.D. in Art History   #NotreDame #EternalNotreDame #ImmersiveExpedition #VR
